| Supercalifragilistic Posts: 431 | 9/11 Skeptics Forum? I can understand having Rightie and Leftie boards, because these are the two largest denominations of political views. Hell, I can even understand having a Religious board when considering the growing rift between the Religious Right and the more Moderate of the same wing. But come on now, an entire board dedicated to 9/11 Skeptics? Let's not get so "open minded" here in catering to every group on the forum that our brains fall out of our heads! What's next, a board for Roswell skeptics, Scientologists and JFK conspiracy theorists? I thought that this was supposed to be a place for serious political discussion and debate? Seeing that on the front page doesn't really promote such an image (actually, I would say that it does exactly the opposite). I'm not meaning to flame and I am posting this here so as not to offend anyone who may be a member of that board, but I just had to express my disgust with this somewhere. Bleh... Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. |

There are enough people around here left that still think 9/11 was a BushCo. plot to rule the world and make $$$ and there were no terrorist, the WTC was loaded with explosives.... It's truely insane. Einstein's "Theory of Relativity" is still being challenged to this day, but by consensus Global Warming is a fact... that's REAL science at work, why didn't Albert just go that route? |

| Supercalifragilistic Posts: 431 | Seriously though, does this type of trash really need it's own board? I mean, we're not exactly protecting them from flames here, but confrontations with reality. Oh, and no wonder Patrick Henry is the one leading such a forum -- isn't that guy all the way over in Hawaii anyways? I'd like to see these people try to survive one day in New York spinning this kind of trash. Maybe I should start claiming that Pearl Harbor was a conspiracy by Hawaii in having Uncle Sam pour millions of dollars into the state. Next thing you know, they're going to start claiming that the moon landing was staged. Oops, I better keep quiet about that -- don't want to give them ideas for a new board. =PpP Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee. |

That said, I don't really mind the forum, although I don't really think it belongs on Volconvo (theres more than enough conspiracy boards around). I can imagine what their board must be like... "Did you know 9/11 was caused by green skin martians intent on invading earth and using mind probes to kill us all?" "Really? Amazing! I'll bet the lizard men are involved too!" Ideological loyalty is the act of giving your soul to a vague concept, to be manipulated by people smarter than you. |
