| THROBBIN ROBIN Location: USA Posts: 311 | Arguments! Ok, just had to vent how much debating with rude, obnoxious and insanely close-minded people! Why go to an on-line debate forum if all your going to do is insult people? OH! and another pet peeve: arguing the debate with the same quote phrased differently. Either be imaginitive or don't put your 10 cents in. Don't insult others too... just because you don't agree in abortion or about government, doesn't give anyone the right to attack you personally....either attack my ideas, or raise questions, but don't say I am dumb. Because I am not. And hopefully, neither are you, or I wouldn't be debating with you! Thanx! FIFI DON'T TAKE AWAY MY RIGHTS JUST BECAUSE YOU DON'T EXERCISE YOURS. Better to be thought a fool with ones mouth shut, than to speak and remove all doubt |

| Principled Observer Location: Toledo, Ohio Posts: 13,873 | I think the reason I am often provoked to insults, is because I can only spend so much time reciting facts before I feel as though I could get better results talking to a rock. I often get upset when I go through the trouble to source and link facts, and people either don't review them, or they blatantly dismiss them without a shred of reasoning as to why. Most people do this when their views and beliefs have led them to a point of dilemma over whether or not to believe facts, or the beliefs they have cherished for so long. I myself ALWAYS choose facts, but only if the FACTS show the whole picture of what is being discussed. This is something hard to find in the media, since they are all corporate sponsored mouthpieces of the new trendy public opinion(which they create). Unfortunately that requires a lot of looking around, spending time sourcing, and work. Most people don't like to do this, or use the cop out "I don't have the time". If you don't have time to know the facts of what you speak, you might want to reconsider speaking at all. I just wish more people would actually put the time into investigative fact finding in government happenings. I guarantee you will be not only dissappointed, but also appalled and angered. Sounds like fun doesn't it?!? Petition of Redress of Grievances: http://www.givemeliberty.org/default.htm Canadian Lawsuit Against Their National Banks: http://www.freewebs.com/classaction/ Osborn F.
