Challenge to the Members

I challenge you guys to an intellectual exersize, it's really simple.

Someone, not me I have all ready tried this once but let my temper get the best of me, but someone start a thread on one of two subjects in General Discussion I think it would fit, no where else would be exactly right...

Anyway here is the challenge:

1. Start a thread showing the fallacy of Noam Chomsky

2. Start a thread showing the lies, and fallacy of the website "Z-Mag.org"


Anyone willing and able to take this one up? LAst time I did the defenders of the above ganged up on me (back when it was a few conservative minded posters to every 10 leftist) and I got pissy. I failed to keep my cool.

I'd love to help you out, Mr. V but I'm not very familiar with either subject. I've heard and read a bit of and about Noam Chomsky but I've never heard of the Z-Mag website. I travel in a very tight circle of board sites and that hasn't come to my attention before.

I won't spend much (if any) time on the regular boards here at Volconvo. If this conservative site hadn't opened up, I wouldn't have returned. I don't mix well with liberals.

Thanks. I've got some stuff already but Im going to do a little more research after reading what their arguments supporting Chumpsky are.

I will post though, just not exactly sure if it will be today, tomorrow, or Sunday.

Take your time man, thee are some real Chomskiets here so plan for a fight. Z-Mag is considered by some, to be an honest, and open web site that isn't afraid of the truth. Scary eh?

I just read your thread. I think you did a fabulous job actually.
All gorgo could do is say something to the effect of "prove he's praised mass murderers" or something to that effect. In the big picture, to me, thats irrelivant as what you've posted is far more harmful to chomsky.

He did little to refute anything you posted. Actually, it seemed rather one sided. Of course, thats just my biased take on the matter but I can't say I thought you lost your cool or anything. You provided a lot of material about Chomsky and not very much was addressed.

Oh, btw. I invited a friend over here. He's got boatloads of articles on Chumpsky.

Uhm... why should anyone read those, feel good love pieces aren't defense, or worth the effort....

If so, it's very possible that if the the moderators are leftists they could pass what is stated in this forum over to the leftists.

I have brought that concern to the lead owner, Sean, he and I are on... a good working basis. He hates my temper, I hate his wishy-washiness... but we find middle ground.


He has assured me no Mod will enter this forum unless a reported post is made, and even then, should such occur I would think RCNE (our mod in forum) would handle that not say... Pooeypants, a REALLY left wing mod I personally dislike but that's me.

If I were to learn that anyone was double reading our forum and thiers, and doubley so were it a moderator... that would cause... a real ruckus.

Good point. I've been on vacation and am just now getting back into things.

If I hear of any mods snooping and relaying info I'll be the first to raise a ruckus.

If there is another forum - did the liberals or someone set one up - I would not view it unless requested.

Even if I viewed it I would treat it a confidentiality. Fair is fair after all. As of yet nothing is noted on anonymous mods in this or other forums. That is if they exist.

I don't know enough about Chomsky one way or the other to have a firm opinion. Perhaps tomorrow I'll view the entire thread to get up to speed.

I did notice that the debate is picking up speed and seems well presented. Which is after all one of the goals of private forums such as this.

Well I went after methods and got Gorgo in a tizzy and Matt just PM'd me upset I PM'd him calling him out for that defense of Gorgo. HE claims it wasn't and that I should read the link first.

I pointed out if you want your link defending Chomsky read, don't use Chimsky Cheerleader sites. I never attacked the actual content, Gorgo's just pissed cause I have nuetralized his greatest resources.
