| Independent Location: University of Sioux Falls, South Dakota Posts: 62 | Rush Limbaugh Is anyone else getting tired of Rush and/or talk radio in general? I use to really like to listen to the disscussions but lately its more like watching springer! Is there any rational talk radio broadcast? I want to listen to intellegent disscussion not a yelling match. Sed omnia praeclara tam difficilia quam rara sunt Everything excellent is as difficult as it is rare - Spinoza |

I still listen a little bit, but it does get kind of old pretty quick.. about the only people I listen to know is Michael Medved and Michael Savage. "You have enemies? Good. Without the influence of Rush providing the first mass appeal counter to the MSM we woudln't be where we are today. Einstein's "Theory of Relativity" is still being challenged to this day, but by consensus Global Warming is a fact... that's REAL science at work, why didn't Albert just go that route? |

Although we must be eternally grateful for by enlarge, he started it all. I can't take Hannity for more than 5 minutes. IMO he's good for beginners and just repeats talking points which can be useful at times but after a while it just gets old. He's a hard worker and a nice guy alright, I just don't believe he's an intellectual. If you want really good intellectual talk and want to use your mellon, Id suggest www.dennisprager.com www.hughhewitt.com and www.michaelmedved.com All 3 are intellectuals and have excellent shows. Currently my favorite is dennis prager. Damn is he smart. |

| Igneous Magma Location: PA Posts: 328 | I've never listened to talk radio except as a captive audience (in someone else's car). I don't even watch much TV. I get the bulk of my news off the internet. I love blogs but I do read a wide variety of newspapers/magazines online, both liberal and conservative. There was a time that I'd watch about 5 hours of Fox News a day. Now I'm down to Brit Hume at 6pm EDT weekdays. Everything else is a repeat of all the other shows on for that day and there's too much Michael Jackson type stuff reported ad nauseam. |

| Market Anarchist Location: United States Posts: 652 | I really enjoyed listening to Michael Savage's radio when I listened to talk radio a lot. I live on an entirely separate coast from him, but when I listened, it was through an online feed provided by Talk 910AM KNEW out of San Francisco. Last I remember, he's on from 1500 - 1900 (3:00 PM - 7:00 PM) weekdays, California time. They should still have a "Listen Live" link on their webpage. Tu ne cede malis, sed contra audentior ito. |

| Igneous Magma Posts: 216 | I used to listen to Savage on a daily basis. I've got mixed feelings about him. In many cases he is exactly right, sometimes he contradicts himself. Sometimes I love his passion and indignation although sometimes it is misplaced and unwarranted, especially when he attacks fellow conservatives. The guy is smart but I don't know precisely how much good he does for the Conservative movement when he makes the "off the wall" statements. Rush, the band, rocks. |

The only conservative leaning station we have around here that comes in clear is KFI 640 AM, they broadcast Rush in the AM, but after that, it all goes downhill. I used to like to listen to the 2 'shockjock' clowns in the afternoon, John & Ken, on KFI...But they had some pretty horrid viewpoints on the Terri Schiavo situation that turned my stomach (no pun intended). And they definitely aren't Bush supporters...So, I started losing interest in that crap. I used to like the G-man, but I'm have no idea if he's still around, or if he is, where I can find him. Imus is fun. Sometimes. Dr. Laura is the same thing one after another. It's old hat. I like the O-Reilly radio show. It's better than his TV show. Hannity's radio show is better than his TV show too. I listen to him sometimes. But for straight, logical intelligent talk radio I still opt for Rush. However, I do turn him off from time to time. I wish that Ann Coulter would have a talk show. I like her a lot. | |

| Market Anarchist Location: United States Posts: 652 | You know, sometimes I enjoy watching Don Imus in the morning on MSNBC. He always has really great guests, and the sarcastic commentary has made me laugh more times than I can count. He's worth a listen/view every once in a while.
