This lady was just being really selfish, I don't know if that makes her stupid. If one says that being selfish is stupid than what is the limit because we all are in ways that aren't as blatent and this example.
And man if there was a five person limit on how many stupid people I coould kill everyone would be dead because everyone has a different version of what they see as stupid. And if it were narrowed down to the cases that are the most valid than then everyone woould still die because everyone does this kind of stuff at one time or another in their life.

"We become stupid" eh. What do you mean by "stupid"? Does it mean wrong, or of having low intelligence? They are different things, you know.

I suggest that you use another word, because when those who do not know how to use the language say "stupid" they are just proving that they just might be so.

It's likely that mankind will eventually die out. Here's a senario for our destruction:

We have a nuclear war. Many millions die. The radiation surrounds the Globe and even more die.

Those who survive have none of the "modern" conviences that we are used to having. So they starve.

The few who live just can't build enough human capital to sustain life. They either starve or die out due to disease, or are eaten by bigger, stronger animals.

Could happen.

Of course, this would not be the end of the World. It'd go chugging along, and it's do just fine. :)

Since the life span of the Earth is only about half over, there'd be plenty of time for man like creature to re-evolve. They'd have fun studying us.

If you worry about how people drive, you will soon be insane. They all seem to think they live in their private lttle world, where the only thing that matters is how they get to where they're going. Never mind if they cut across three lane of traffic moving faster than they are, or if they U turn in the middle of the road. And if, by any chance, you cannot avoid hitting one of them, of course they will claim it is your fault.

if you want to know how people got so stupid, it happened when someone got smarter than the rest and made the wheel. Then it went downhill from there. The smart man invented fire, the stupid man burned himself, the smart man invented a sword, the stupid man cut himself. Basically its newtons law applied to human intelligence. For every surge in brain activity in a human, there is an equal and oppisite depression in brain activity in another human.

Seriously, I think it's time to clean the gene pool, we've let too much crap pollute it. Most of these morons have absolutely no basic survival skills, but no matter how stupidly they act, they think it's everyone else's fault and someone else needs to fix it.

Smoke? Sue the tobbacco companies! Sue the store that sold it to you! Blame everyone but yourself, even though nobody forced you to do it.

I think you are refering to Newton's third law. It has absolutely nothing to do with the evolution of the species. Survival, or success of an individual has nothing to do with action/reaction.

What makes a person successful is if he can conform to his invironment in such a way that he can survive and produce off spring. I suppose if he learns to use a sword and not cut himself with it; he'll do better than others. So your post makes some sense; sorta.

As for the rest. Well take a sip of coffee and dream on. :)

How does making a tool that helps men to survive and pass on their genes cause them to go downhill? Making survival easier benefits the individual and mankind in general.
