Anyone heard of Saint Malachy and his papal prophecies? I just started finding things on it today. What do you think, does it hold some validity? Do you believe in things like this? Dont just say "I'm an athiest, so all religion sucks and this prophecy is nonsense", as that has no place in a conversation like this. Anyone know any great links where i could read more on stuff like this? Really want to dig into this...

That's interesting... in the second link you gave there, it says:

The Benedictine order traditionally said this Pope would come from their order.

And this Pope chose the name "Benedict."

Yeah its kinda creepy! Did they (the church) pick someone from the Benedict house just to fufill prophecy and scare people into believing, or did this actually come true?
