its 6th grade science that maps out the difference between plants and animals. but whatever dude .... tell yourself whatever you want to tell yourself to make you feel right about it ... do what you want, its your life. i said from the beginning that i wasnt looking to argue about this. so ill just leave it at that. i no longer feel the need to respond to your comments if they are all geared towards trying to prove me wrong or pick at some error in my personal choices.

And it also maps out the difference between me and a cow, but my point was that you're ignoring these problems with your argument.

ok cool. FACT: animals live and die in bad ways to become food.

that alone is enough to keep me vegetarian.

FACT: vegetables and fruits live and die in bad ways to become food

so then you eat meat because you dont want to hurt plants?

if not, your post is void. i choose a plant based diet because i didnt want to contribute to what goes on. thanks for being a smartass though. and its actually spelled anthropomorphic ... no r after the "po" .... look it up

umm he's not being a smartass, you did the same thing (you said FACT) trying to condescend to us. Why don't you stop posting, you're obviously not willing to debate. Go somewhere where people are uninformed (they'll say things that will make it easy to make your argument sound better), or you can just go to a 100% vegan site where they'll kiss your ass.

and p.s. don't call people "smartass" if you're going to correct someone's mere spelling-you should actually look up the term Ad Hominem

may i ask what any of this has to do with the very first original post i made? are you trying to say im wrong for eating meat .... have i said that you were wrong for eating it? im simply stating why i dont eat it. did you even watch the video?

i said i wasnt looking to argue over this ... its more than pointless. you are not going to convince me to eat meat .... im not going to convince you not too (im not trying to). simply state what you thought of the video and leave it at that.

but then why did you travel so far into this argument? You tried to convince me by using a video. One way or another you had intentions, but since you don't answer questions when you mess up, we're done here.

what are you talking about? i didnt present a video to convince you of anything ... i presented a video to let "uninformed" people become informed. i appologize for messing up and getting irritated ... but this argument is very cliche and stale in my life. its something i have to deal with everytime i go somewhere to eat with people. id be more than happy to continue discussing this if we can swith into civil mode.

Please quote me where I was not civil. I was simply asking you questions, and answering yours.

civil in conversation .... to me it seems that your sole purpose of posting on this thread is to try to make me see ignorant or to prove me wrong ... which there is no point in since the topic is something of personal choice. if i am wrong, i appologize .... but thats how you have come across.

What's wrong with being proven wrong? Perhaps it will help you to understand why other people make their own choices (not saying you don't, but you were being quite unrealistic at the begining of the post). It won't make you eat meat, but it will help you understand why other people do it. You seemed to think poor people would be better off without meat, and with grain-that's an argument as far as I can see.

Conversation is ussually contrast, and to convince me that you have a right to have your opinion you've gotta be convincing. Otherwise your just wasting my time. And yes, you do have to prove your opinion despite what the kindergarten teachers tell us.

I'm done, so you can say something if you want, but it's done :) Good luck to you and maybe you'll post an argument that you recognize as an argument, so it'll be a little more interesting? It's hard to get what you want from a topic if you post a video with very little explaination right?

you say that i misread what you say but you do the same to me. i never said poor people would be better off eating grains than meat. i posted a statistic that shows that if we all took advantage of soybeans and grains .... (instead of trying to fatten up a cow) .... there would be less world hunger. as blind to opposition as you think i may be .... you are equaly blind.

One of the problems here is the flawed assumption that because "a man has a right to an opinion," absolutely shameful and destructive opinions that approve of an animal being built and bred for a black hole in the wall are tolerable and should not be punishable by death. Yes, I would murder every last idiot who thinks this is a swell idea. No, that does not mean meat is wrong. Killing a deer, or herding a sheep, are different than locking an animal in a dark coffin for 2 years. Zero room for debate, zero room for tolerance, I would very simply murder every last idiot that ever even once thought for three seconds that this was an acceptable thing to do.

I guess eventually you'd have to start placing people in black boxes for two years because there'd be so many people to kill.

haha, I'm not asking about you! lol
I wondered what their condition was like; I should have been more specific.
I personally don’t mind eating animals if they aren’t treated like such shit. This video really got to me though.
