Perhaps since the Supreme Court is a branch of government, and goverment is supposed to represent the people, maybe the Judges should be voted in, and suubject to removal by the people rather than appointed by corrupt politicians.

| Sedimentary Rock Location: Dallas, TX Posts: 17 | too many flaming idiots! Gorgo - where were you on 9/11....shoe-shining your ass so you can bend over for the terrorists? WHO slaughtered thousands of innocent people? Sounds as though you watch the (admittedly biased) Communist News Network (CNN). Bush is the only president in my lifetime that had BALLS. 3 attacks during pansy-ass Clinton's reign all got swept under the rug. We got 9/11 cuz Clinton wanted to be popular and made us ALL look like a bunch of liberal whiners. Bush had the balls to do what wasn't popular. Freedom ain't free, dumbass! Our military risks their lives so you can open your stupid mouth and speak your bullshit. Nobody is holding you here in handcuffs - just like you're free to speak - YOU'RE FREE TO LEAVE! Quote:
It's disturbing that so many otherwise bright individuals have been brainwashed by the liberal media. Force yourself to think critically and originally, and you just might break out of your stupor. Last edited by ChiknLegs; Apr 21, 2005 at 07:38 pm. Reason: it got posted in wrong thread - how?

On behalf of all members of the US Armed Forces, I wish to express deep appreciation for your use of freedoms our blood is shed to give you, free speech in this example, and further ask you to drive to your nearest Marine Corp Station, find out where the local Mariens hang out off station to relax (this would be a Bar or Tavern) And ask that you openly, and agressively espouse your views. I don't think your Nut Sack is big enough to take your beliefs beyond an anonymous web forum. But hey, that's your right after all, to talk shit and hide like a coward. I swear he must have a stegosaurus in the family... Oh, sorry, did i say you looked up at that? Damn... You must have a brain even smaller.. i didn't even know that was possible... Well, good luck in the world matey... i hope your brain grows someday, or you might have a teeny weeny bit of trouble getting by... | Moderator/nobody Posts: 1,566 | Please check your facts, Bush has won a second term with a majority of the populace vote. Do your really think we have the IQ of a banana? He also has some naysayers saying perhaps Iraq and democracy in the Middle East is possible - because someone took. action. While the brain dead scoff at the buffoon, the world changes in the direction of those who take action. The members of a committee will never extend the politics to make a difference, they will always play to the polls, a sure recipe for failure. So stand aside and scoff and bemoan the buffoon and don't watch as the world changes. The spark of democracy in the mid east is taking root, for all the wrong reasons, but sprouting it is. Ask those of Lebanon, Egypt, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia when women have the right to vote and representative governments are in place - just who, the committee of status quo or the cowboy was responsible for bringing the chance of freedom to their land. | Igneous Magma Location: UK Posts: 303 | I will be quite frank, Bush is a joke. They should thank Cheney and the hawks i Bush's admin for all the change, they puts the words right into Bush's mouth. As for the election... don't throw that at me, yeah, it was free, but for Christ's sake, the OSCE had to go and observe it to make sure it was!! The OSCE!!! I'm sure they have far better things to do, but they had to go and observe an election in the US! What kind of joke is that!? I don't think you are naive enough to think the reason that the US invaded Iraq is to spread democracy either are you? Come on, if you know anything about deterrence, containment, and generally, world politics, you would know they went there for the oil. It is just plain obvious. Look at George Kennan for further info on the containment strategy, and you will see what i mean... As for the majority, it was a pretty close election you know... Ohio, one state, decided everything... One State, my home one of all embarassments! You think i don't watch the world change? Think again, i do, and i see idiots getting into power, doing things that are upsetting the balance of power far too much for my liking. I'm just glad that he's outta here in a few years, because my job later in life will be sorting out all the crises he starts. thats what i wnt to do, but i'd rather the US weren't the instigator of the crisis, but were on my side, trying to stop it from happening... | Navy Veteran Location: Texas Posts: 6,335 | Hey Indie, Bush is a complete idiot, a dunce, a brain the size of pea and an IQ of a Banana... Let's, for arguements sake, agree that you are correct... Fine, what does that say abou tthe democrats then that they can't seem to beat him? He's won the last 4 direct elections he's run in, and 2002 he pulled off a near impossible political victory... gains for his party in an off year election. If he really is as dumb as you say, gotta wonder why people like you opposed to him can't beat such a moron. Oh Gorgo, the Mariens aren't afriad of a civilized conversation, most I know are rather bright and motivated indivduals, but they also know that talk isn't always the right answer. And would be happy to give some direct physical reeducation when the need arises. | Igneous Magma Location: UK Posts: 303 | 4 elections? from what i can remember its only been two, so you prove my point about intelligence if you cant even count... As for him winning them, what do you think? Most people dont know different if they listen to Fox News. On top of that, he has Cheney behind him doesn't he? Now that is the intelligence... Can you imagine him President? That would be worse than Bush! No, no... Bush is completely ignorant and stupid. Who else would say the French don't have a word for entrepreneur? That is just hilarious, considering you even have to speak French to say the word. There is nothing that can prove to me that Bush is intelligent in any way shade or form. As for me not being able to beat him, well, sorry, i'm European aren't I? I have nothing to do with the elections in the US... I know i can't beat him! | Navy Veteran Location: Texas Posts: 6,335 | IndieC... for someone calling the President an idiot, a moron and lacking in the IQ department... You sure are making a case to grab those labels for yourself. What was Bush prior to being President? Oh yeah, twice elected Govenor of Texas, something that hadn't been done in quite a while. That's 4 times he's been directly elected by the people. Whose the one with the low IQ? | Igneous Magma Location: UK Posts: 303 | The American people... obviously. Come on, i can actually speak three languages, he can't even speak one... sorry for all those guys in the US, but its true. You don't speak English.... its not the same language. Just a little something about what you said... i never called him a moron, but he is an idiot. Plain and simple. Have you ever read the Bushisms? They are hilarious. I mean, which head of state would make mistakes like that? Oh... the US one, of course... Damn, i'm so proud of the country i was born in, that i'd die for it... die laughing that is. American ideals are brilliant to begin with, i'll grant you that, liberty, etc... but the French are better, they came up with three words, and no religious affiliations "liberty, equality, franternity". They don't have "In God we Trust" on each dollar bill. As for me being an idiot, i'm afraid that is impossible. I didn't have a daddy who helped me get through AS or SATs, since i never actually took them, they are far too easy. My daddy didn't get me a place at a uni because he was president and for no other reason. No, i had the intelligence to skip a year, despite having been moved from one country to an other. I then further had the intelligence to take my "end of high-school" exam equivalent in French, a language which, at the time, i had only been able to write in for 4 years previous, and yet i still managed to gain entry into the university which is the home of International Politics, and where i am now studying International Politics. Yeah, guess what? I was 17 when i left high school, and i was still 17 when i went to university... Hmm... I generally don't brag about it, but to be honest, the only people who can do that are gifted people. From everything i can see about Bush, he certainly ain't anything like that, in fact, he was known as the high school dunce from what i recall, and only got through because his daddy was a politician, who went on to become President. Even when he went into business, he started in oil i believe where he kept digging empty wells... how intelligent is that? Not very... Every business he headed ended up bankrupt didn't it? Until he was bought out that is... So why did he keep setting up businesses if he knew he was crap at it? Duh, i don't think i would do that... I believe i have made my point clear... Who's (not whose) the one with the low IQ now? "Never before in the history of warfare had destruction been so indiscriminate and universal" - makes you think of Hiroshima... -H.G. Sorry to say this, but the craven approach to dealing with terrorist only invites more terror. Bush isn't perfect, as a matter of fact, he's on my shit list right now. That being said, ones ability to speak well in public isn't a good judge of character, Clinton has a silver forked tongue and could sell Eiskimos industrial size freezers. That doesn't mean he's all that. BTW I did notice the UK paper attempt to sway "ignorant Americans" not to vote Bush, backfired, terribly. Ya'll can keep your snotty attitudes and delusional beliefs in progressive socialism where it belongs, in Europe, Americans are made of better stuff then to allow the failures of Europe guide them.
