An HIV vaccine/cure is a terrible thing. The hyper-promiscuous homosexuals, IV drug users, and promiscuous heterosexuals just want a silver bullet so they can continue their behavior. Stop screwing around with drugs and sex. HIV disease is overwhelmingly a behavioral disease. You get it because you did something you should not have done.

Behavioral disease? Tell me, is that the full medical definition? AIDS is fast spreading in normal hetereosexual couples who engage in normal sexual practices, sure though they could use condoms but do we condemn them to a varied length of suffering because of that mistake?

Everybody wants a cure, a way out..no matter what the disease. But you do raise a point, what is the answer, vaccine that enables people to be irresponsible? Just like abortion, it too is abused when used as a birth control option. I don't know what having sex has to do with doing something you shouldn't have done, you have to be more specific.

It is fast spreading amoung heterosexual couples and singles..I would like to know it's origin. Someone knows for sure but we aren't being told.

Well, we know that it spread to the West due to the 80's promicious business men who went to X country to engage in X activity. I think the most likely reason it got transfected from other simians to humans is because of the Bush meat consumption in parts of Africa. Infact, it remains a problem now because thousands of tonnes of these meat are still consumed and we do not what pathogens they may harbour.

everyone who thinks they know the origins of aids ought to read horowitz's "emerging virusus".. it's one of the most heavily documented and authoratative books on aids. people most certainly did not get aids by eating bush meat.. you can't get aids by eating meat - maybe only if it was immediately killed, then consumed raw.. although the virus can't survive stomach acid.
