None of that matters. The law provides that if a country is facing an imminent threat, it may remove that imminent threat and do no more until the UNSC has a chance to review the problem.

The U.S. not only removed a nonexistent threat, it stayed and attempted to overthrow the government.

This is a violation of international and domestic law.
