| Junior Member? Hah! Location: Houston, TX Posts: 54 | Well, all I need to do to respond to Suburbanite is look at his name. Anyone that voluntarily espouses a suburban lifestyle is bound to have a rattled sense of reality. God bless Texas, asshole... "Growth for the sake of growth is the ideology of a cancer cell." Do you make things better where you live, or do you screw things up and live in the suburbs? |

| BANNED Posts: 179 | The Bush Family is not from Texas. There is a Hollywood set there where Dubya acts like a cowboy for the press. Ever seen that footage of him cutting up a tree with a chainsaw? The VERY NEXT STAGE of his UTTER STUPIDITY would have been that saw bouncing out of the wood and into his empty head. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the first time he had ever used one. Hard to believe they let him after the pretzel incident. Unbelievable. Did you know Madonna was British? And Angelina Jolie?....she's Cambodian. |

You get all pissed off when you think that someone is labeling you (neocon, etc.) but you're quick with the labeling of others. This is a freakin' flame thread/ forum so quit being so sensitive Obe. It's bad enough you can't form an original thought without checking the RNC webpage, do you actually have to take the non-political stuff so seriously too? | ... Location: TX Posts: 32 | More reason's why Texas rules!! The King Ranch in Texas is bigger than the state of Rhode Island. More wool comes from the state of Texas than any other state in the United States. Texas is the only state to enter the United States by treaty instead of territorial annexation. The state was an independent nation from 1836 to 1845. Texas boasts the nation's largest herd of whitetail deer. Austin is considered the live music capital of the world. Texas is home to Dell and Compaq computers and central Texas is often referred to as the Silicon Valley of the south. Texas comes from the Hasinai Indian word tejas meaning friends or allies. Texas has the first domed stadium in the country. The structure was built in Houston and opened in April 1965. The first word spoken from the moon on July 20, 1969 was Houston. Port Lavaca has the world's longest fishing pier. Originally part of the causeway connecting the two sides of Lavaca Bay, the center span of was destroyed by Hurricane Carla in 1961. The Flagship Hotel on Seawall Boulevard in Galveston is the only hotel in North America built entirely over the water. Brazoria County has more species of birds than any other comparable area in North America. The Aransas Wildlife Refuge is the winter home of North America's only remaining flock of whooping cranes. Texas is second in size only to Alaska. Spindletop oil field, near Beaumont, was the first gusher in North America. In 1901, it sprayed more than 800,000 barrels of oil into the air before it was brought under control. "You can go to hell -- I'm going to Texas." -Davy Crockett Couldn't have said it better myself. |

You do know that for you to go to the "relax/calm down" card, the other person has to actually be unhinged. You are the meltdown waiting to happen as we saw last week BSD and you just sound like a monkey pounding on a keyboard at this time; a really smart monkey though that listens to Christopher Cross. Have some fun jaggoff and lighten up. I come on here to have fun, debate and learn from others, including you and Obe. Stop taking everything so seriously and personally.
