Yeah and it is a good place to sling insults, too. But sometimes our serious attempts at honest debate find themselves banished here :( Then we feel bad, like a child of ours has somehow gone wrong...

I wish I had time to read all this. All I know is Kyran never displayed the ability to debate correctly himself, and was a poor choice for a moderator position.

PH would be the absolute first choice under any and all criteria.

I vote for a switch.

Kyran is doing his job, you don't like complain to sean, you don't like the mod choice, complain to sean, you think PH would make a great mod, tell sean.

Whining about it ina thread is juvinille, to say the least.

Einstein's "Theory of Relativity" is still being challenged to this day, but by consensus Global Warming is a fact... that's REAL science at work, why didn't Albert just go that route?

Hmm...

I accidentally found this thread. It seems letting Sean know is a thing of the past. I'm full time student and I work too, so you need to voice your complaints directly (either in that complaint thread in announcements or via pm/email).

I've already spoken to Kyran about editing topics, and I even addressed the issue in a thread http://www.volconvo.com/forums/index.php?s...?showtopic=3171.

Kyran may misunderstand how to moderate (don't edit posts), but he claims to value debate vs. flame topics (as do I). I think I've given him enough of my expectations to help him do it right.

If he or any other moderator doesn't handle an issue well just let me know. All I ask is that you are clear and concise.

So it goes

I sent you a lengthy e-mail (too lengthy?).

Now who does that remind me of? Hmmm... No, please, no hints. It's on the tip of my tongue...

I'm not accusing you of not responding. You did. I'm just saying that "letting Sean know" isn't a thing of the past. By the way, check your current inbox.

I can't recall whining about the mods very often if at all. I complain about the tone of the forums and the way "debate" breaks down to "hate Bush its all his fault" instead of debating ideas, but thats ust me. And I wasn't talking to you directly Mia.

Thanks for clarifying that
