| Affirmative action is dead wrong and bad for everybody Affirmative action is dead wrong and bad for everybody The liberal democrat pigs that instituted affirmative action are absolutely no better, than the worst of racists and crooks. How could any human being that wasn’t' a complete pig, reason that not only was it morally acceptable to legislate affirmative action in colleges and the work place, but also be stupid enough to think that it would do anybody any good? Did I have a chance in hell of getting into Stanford or Yale? Hell no! Am I ever going to meet a woman or black person that went to Stanford or Yale, and give them much credit for the achievement? NO. Are these minorities that go to such schools forever robbed of getting the respect and credit they may have actually earned? Yes! You liberal pigs out there have screwed everybody over, once again, so you can bribe, thieve, and slime after your own selfish ambitions. sorry minorities, but if you went to a good school or have a good job, I'm not buying it - doesn't meant crap to me, because you were given a free ride in life. You may fool some, but not me. |

| OK first off your nothing more than a racist. That said I just turned down going to Princeton to attend a local Masters program instead so my wife could stay working at the hospital she is at. So do you think I am some kind of elitist? Just to give you an idea of who I am. I quit school in the 8th grad to go to work but did get my GED. I when I was in my early 20s I decided I wanted to work for the Fire Service and worked my ass off to get into the program. I passed at the top of my class. After several injuries I stopped doing that and drove truck in the lower 48 for several years. I decided in 2003 I wanted to go back to school so I started a degree in Theology and Philosophy and graduated last may with my BA. Last week I started my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy where they only take 6 people into the program per year. I meet hundreds of guys like you who blame their lack of drive and their failure to achieve on everyone else. Could you get into Princeton or Yale or Harvard? No, but it isn't because of Affirmative Action or minorities blocking your path. You cant get in because you have no drive to achieve. Oh and I'm a white guy if you were wondering. |

| Every year the gap that justifies this narrows and some day (unfortunately not today) you'll be right. People have pretty much stopped caring. Just 20 years ago this thread would have been unthinkable: Is the U.S. post racial now? Oh, about the gap...incidentally I checked and wikipedia has the numbers right plus a convenient graph. ![]() You might also find this interesting yet deeply infuriating reading material. I think it goes without saying the any suggestion to invade Canada is mind-numbingly stupid. | |
