Good ole Frank died long before the whole 9/11 deal, but in his book he said if we ever go to war with the Muslums we should mix porkblood into our ammunition. He said it would sure slow down the 'fast track to heaven' beliefs for Jihadists dying in combat.

No Frank was never really serious about anything but hey......

To be serious for a moment, I think that would be a very effective tactic...for a little while, anyway. Since they're bullets in the first place, I wonder if this would raise any "human rights" issues? Assuming the promise of heaven is what these guys are motivated by in the first place, the fear of going to all the trouble to die and then have the door to heaven shut in their faces could very well work.
However, shortly after this started, some Imam would probably just say we are lying or the pork comes off the bullets in flight or something. And he'd be believed too! Which story do you think they'd buy, the evil westerners or their beloved holy man?
Or they'd say Mohammed sent off an email saying pork is cool now so don't sweat it. :)

Email is soooo last century. Why not just terrorize them back and send SMS messages to all their cellphones?

Just because they believe pork will send them to hell, doesnt make it so. Religous fanatics are so gullible. It is not what we believe but how we treat each other, that determines our next place and body. What a soldier does do me doesnt determine where I go, only that I go.
As for human rights, arent those kinda out the window when a person is murdered. Is there a friendly or sanitary way to murder?

I have heard, and this may not be true, that during the time of conflict with the British, that the(the Brits) promised to place a piece of pork in their mouth before beheading them.

I heard the uprising after that melted away to nothing. I do like the idea of using their religious fears against them though.

Can't get them 72 virgins with pork on your breath. I don't know if anything in this forum shows up or not - so I might just be talking to myself.

Oh Brother, If we are going to use their religion to fight them, why not just create a new myth like this: All Gods have joined in conference and decided that killing is wrong because humans were created in Gods image, so it is like trying to kill your maker. It is no longer OK to kill someone because they dont think like you. If you are a leader who sends troops to die and to kill innocents, your hell will be within you in and you shall return to earth as a piece of coal in your enemies hearth. Now have a nice day

Most religious myths are based upon fear cultivated by supposedly 'holy' men. Creating a new myth would take many generations, utilizing an existing one however should be easy enough to do.

I find it interesting that the two mortal enemies, the Jews and Muslim both embrace the same pork myth.

Maybe it would bring peace to the middle east. HA.

Both consider the afterlife the ultimate goal.

They've only been mortal enemies for the last 100 years. Islamic nations have traditionally been happy home for many Jews. The pulpit preaching of clerics has brought this political issue into the religion, unfortunately.

When Saladin took over Jerusalem, he let anyone who wished to stay, stay. When King Richard I (the Lionheart) conducted his crusades, he took the head of every foreigner he could find, unless they were suitable for raping or other such Christian enterprises.
