OK Canadians happen to be a large group of illegal immigrants in the US and I am as mad at them being here as I am that the hispanic illegal immigrants are here. I have said before it sickens me that illegals don't have to have a social security number, or they can just steal someone else's, and they don't have to have Id or they can steal one from someone else. Either way they get free healthcare, free food, free rent, cash grants and almost all tax free. yet a true citizen has to battle the system to get help when they are working hard for their family and can't get all the bills paid, and true citizens are expected to provide two forms of Id a valid social security number for all members of the family and are often denied assistance or given reduced assistance when they need it most, all the while they ahppen to be working and paying taxes, but the illegals just sit on their stoop all day and smoke pot or pop out more children we will have to pay for, or they go to work at some meat packing plant using a fake green card, fake Id and fake social security number.

Tackling illegal immigration is difficult, and one of the prices of being a successful country, but becoming medieval isn't the answer.

You have no evidence to condradict me as I see it. I think the fact that there were over 700 hundred arrest at one Iowa meat packing plant alone, all illegal imigrants , the fact that four members of the human resources department of just that one plant were arrested for making fake greencards, fake ID's and charged with 9,000 child labor law violations is perfect evidence to support my claims.

What is so midevil about holding people responsible for their actions? Why is it midevil to arrest people for fraud, identity theft, child labor law violations, and for breaking the law? Why? Why do the rest of us have to fill out applications at jobs, just to be rejected, and then have to tolerate finding out we weren't hired because the owner didn't want to pay fair wages and instead employes 50 illegal Mexican imigrants? Americans do want these jobs and if these illegal aliens weren't stealing them from us more families could feed their children without welfair. If we got some dang control over our countries borders and started getting tough, we wouldn't be spending so much money paying for food for people who do not have the right to be here.

Pure crap. Evidence that illegal immigration is detrimental to state and local economies has been posted in multiple threads, from multiple sources, multiple times.

Your agenda is well recognized - ignore posted evidence, demand more.

No, my "agenda" is getting a poster to actually post something than pure opinion. It's called sourcing. It's polite, and good practice to get into. Even if the poster searched through previous threads on Volconvo and found sources through that, it would be an improvement on unsubstantiated ranting.

Now, have you anything to add, or have we exhausted that mistaken assumption?

I do have something to add. Look back at post #33. I've linked multiple sources to refute the claim that illegal immigration is good for us. All simply ignored, yet when another thread opens on this subject in the future, the same poster will again be asking for sources. It seems to be a common tactic used by some posters - don't like the evidence provided? Just keep asking for "sourcing".

The person making claims without evidence in this thread is ironeagle. If she would try and source at least one of her claims, then I wouldn't be constantly asking. I have seen you source plenty of evidence, Z, and it is appreciated. However, it's not getting ironeagle to make unsubstantiated claims, is it?

Well I will address the issue since you were talking to me, and as you should
be aware I did post sources for the above claims in the breaking new section I started about the HR arrests in Postville, you may go there to follow the link to my source. I also agree you constantly ask for sources and in many cases you ask for sourcing on people's ideas, thoughts and opinions and not just in fact or fiction cases, I especially have been asked these things several times, unwarrented, and although I have provided sources, you and many others, as the last poster stated, have ignored them.

If you're providing an update from news, etc, it's always useful to have backup. You've given us an "update", but no source, no nothing, and in your previous post you claimed you sourced it. Yet all we have is your word. Please get into the habit of providing backup for factual information.
