What is going on?

I put this in Misc in case somebody wanted to debate. Otherwise I would have put it in genereal discussion as pure coversation.

I want to hear your opinion. Everybody NEEDS your opinion. Sum it all up for everybody..
Here's the question...

What is going on?

The planets are orbiting the sun, light from stars are reaching our planet after many years, Some of our probes are entering the Kuiper belt, possibly the Oort cloud, the Mars rovers are still driving around as far as i know, in the U.S. candidates for the presidency are trying to reach voters, life continues on Earth, etc.

Many things are happening at this moment, some things we won't even know have happened until millions of years from now. And things will continue, with or without us. All we can do is observe, explore, and make our own little spot in the universe. How long that will last, i am not sure.

A new day has dawned and I'm about to head out to work.

I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.

I got my summer reading books: Three Theban Plays, Tortilla Curtain, and Dune. Started Tortilla Curtain first and got about 35 pages done so far. Also 3/4 of the way through my astronomy class at the community college.

You're taking an astronomy class? So lucky. I'm an incoming freshman at CSU Long Beach and they wouldn't let me take it because of the prereqs.

I'm trying to pay my registration fee right now but I don't know how and it's due on the 11th. That's what's going on.

Ncp's are being unilaterally evicted from their children's lives, having there wages and assests seized and stolen so the individual states can collect millions of dollars in federal incentive dollars which they stole from the American citizens' social secutrity funds which they spent their entire lives saving for all in the name of the red herring " best interest of the children".

Saving the empovershed by empoverishing their counterparts will empoverish the whole.

Hm, well, the class im taking is an over summer class so maybe thats why. Also, since i'm still in fact going through high school (sophomore) i can only take the class over summer at the community college. So perhaps it's only offered at the community college here or something.

Also, we found another planet outside our solar system today. I lost count a few years back, but it was about 116 when I stopped. Wonder what the number is now.

Just finished beating Resident Evil 4. Good game, but very difficult at times.

Today at approximately 10:00 am a dove struck a picture window in New Hampshire and was fatally wounded. Resuscitation attempts composed of alternatively poking it with a shovel and tapping it with a shoe were unsuccessful. "I heard this thunk sound and when I turned around it [the bird] was lying there trying to flap its wings on the ivy bed, and when I came back in two hours with a bucket to throw it in the gully flies were all over it" says one witness.

I think it goes without saying the any suggestion to invade Canada is mind-numbingly stupid.

Sunday I'll finally get to attend Comicon. That's what will be going on.
Won't be here at all that day.

Lol, i have a similar story, back in sixth grade, once a week or so, some crow would end up flying right into the window. It did it once a week for like 2 months. it was very weird.

I'm searching my house for something to get high on.

And now thinking of playing Resident Evil 4. Such a great game.
