Bishop:
People like me don't believe in shooting first. Trust me, that's the only reason things aren't a LOT worse. Until we're physically aggressed against, we'll stick to voting, marching, and bitching in general. Hopefully that's all that will ever be needed. However, he who is not willing to physically fight for his rights -has no- rights, because he can always be bought, intimidated, or browbeaten out of them.

Bishop - Are You with us? When the Time comes...You'll be with us or you'll be Praying you had been. If they force Us to remove them in order to Protect Our Rights...We'll meet You in the Streets...Hope You'll be Marching in the same direction.

These are Libertarians talking. While not "Conservative" in the traditional sense, trust me, we're plenty well-armed.

I'm Conservative & republican & Christian & a Proud Southerner, Not only are We well armed....We Know how to hit the targets, we've been drug around hunting in the Mountains since we were kids and I suspect that there are many more out there who if they can't aim can load the Guns and pass them up and the Military may get more than a questionaire...they may be forced to shoot civilians...If enough of Us show Up I see it happening differently though.....I see Our Military backing the People and I swear all we're waiting on Is a Leader.

I'm sure you are. There are a lot more conservatives than there are libertarians. Many, many more.

LOL, don't you know yet? How long you been here? That's the Young Style.

As for guns, everybody has some. They can be handy.

The young style is irritating and inhibits reading, then.

My post was indicative that in an armed conflict with the rest of America, libertarians would lose. So maybe I AM in favor of this revolution of yours.

Because libertarians would lose and you hate libs? Is that an accurate interpretation of your statement?

What do you suppose would initiate such a violent conflict, Comrade?

lots of hot air, that's all i see.

you will probably never be physically aggressed against (is that proper grammar?). i'd bet all my marbles on that. but, you certainly will have more rights taken away through passive and uncontrollable means.

as far as being with the crowd goes... i'm on one team - my team.

hope for america...

When did I say there was ever going to be a violent conflict? I believe my comments were addressed to a hypothetical, "In the event of..."

My comments were lighthearted, but since you wish to pursue it, if libertarians ever decided they wanted to try their revolution, and got wiped out, I wouldn't cry one tear for them, after all their arrogance and elitism. I'm really tired of running up against the idea that people who come to different conclusions from conspiracy theorists are dumber than said theorists. If anything, I believe leftists (and libertarians are just as applicable to this as liberals) are more the gullible, seeing how easily they buy into each conspiracy theory as it comes along.

And I especially like on this forum, how whenever facts come up that don't vibe with your opinions, they are considered lies and propoganda, while Michael Moore is the paragon of truth.

Well that's some "heated debate" allright, Comrade. And I thought I was bein' sorta civil...

I figure an armed conflict is a violent conflict, but what do I know?

And where did this come from: "And I especially like on this forum, how whenever facts come up that don't vibe with your opinions, they are considered lies and propoganda, while Michael Moore is the paragon of truth." Did I step on yer toe? What's with the red herring?

Anyhow, I think the trigger event for a showdown between the people and the gov might be mass disarmament/gun siezure, martial law after a "terror attack", or maybe mandatory vaccination/quarantine due to a release of an epidemic disease by "terrorists".

A lot of Men who were just as important as you or I, did die for Our Rights. Think of it like pushing a rock up a hill. Now we got some people pushing against Us & some of Our own pulling on Us....in order to prove to them that losing Our Rights isn't a good idea, we may have to just let the rock go and get out of the way.....letit run the idiots over.
