The Wrath of Weather

This month a number of weather envents are making headlines, the tornados ripping across the USA, the 100.000 deaths caused by an asian cyclone, and now the big earthquake in China that killed lots of people.

Not sure if other events are happening that I did not hear about.

No doubt the scientific folks will say this is all perfectly normal, but what do you think?

I think the earthquake is probably unrelated to the weather. Unless we have satellites controlling both...

I've heard it theorized that flooding and the added weight from that water can trigger earthquakes. Supposedly this is one possible explanation for the recent rash of Earthquakes in the midwest.

Trigger earthquakes that woud happen eventually anyway, and I'm not too sure about that theory anyway. Tornados and cyclones happen every year, but they just happen to hit population centers from time to time.

What do we think? It doesn't matter. It matters what the "scientific folks" can prove through data. Either this is unusual or it's not. Ask a question like that and you're just bound to get a bunch of end is nigh-ers with unsubstantiated apocalyptic theories. .

I listed it as being simular to weather because it is caused by nature or as a natural event. Although I could have said wrath of nature but then it would sound metaphysical.

I think weather IS changing, but I'm not convinced that it has anything to do with the Earthquakes. Interesting theory on the part of Chaossaber314 though.
