Apparently from all the movies etc, its not an addiction, its a necessity you cant live without.
So I would if a vampire definitely take human life, but I would make sure they were criminals and lowlives, and I would use my superior strength and speed to rob them also of their riches so I could live a life of comfort as well.
Can you imagine how much the organised criminal gangs of the world would have to take?
lol a never ending supply of blood and money!
Not to mention crime vanishing where ever I go.

Oh, I've come up with like twenty book ideas, but I think i will write this one after I'm finished with my current book idea (manuscript, and many edits, and with some luck, an agent in the next month or so).

My idea for a second book is a half satire of the horror genera and half commentary on high powered yuppies. (Though there are some true horror moments)

lol I was at the dentists the other day and enquired about that, screw in teeth like fangs would cost thousands each, and they will do it if you have the cash.

Here is a story line. The fellow was killed in the 1970s and is hauntng this house but finds an old wiccan book about how to incarnate back into a living person. He does the wiccan ritual and chants the magic spells on this stranger, he then can pocess the stranger well enough to try to capture and bring to justice the person who killed him. (or her, if you prefer ). Only sometimes the spell does not work right and so he keeps shifting between the incarnated person back his ghostly idenity. Meanwhile that adds confusion to the life of the person being pocessed, who seek help from a shrink and later form this bishop at a chruch.

However his shifting back into a ghost helps him to do undercover wrok on his case, but he needs to pocess a living human to take legal action on his murderer once he locates the person responsible.

As he collects his clues he finally finds out who his murderer is but he still has a big problem because the person who murdered him is the stranger who he now can pocess.

He thinks that he can make the stranger confess and then the stranger would be punished . That happens in a dramatic confession at the shrinks office, and the shrink tell the police (due to some local law about that requirement).

The ghost is happy then and ready to leave his ghostly life and move towards the light. But something happens and the wiccan speel finally take full control and he becomes the stranger in full incarnation. Trapped in the person who is found guilty.
While the real guy who was the stranger is released into the spirt world. So the ghost who is now the stranger is being punished for murdering his self in the 1970s.

Not sure if he should spend life in prison or get the electric chair (both endings would be a good "surprise ending".

What do you think of my new book/movie story? It only took me the past 5 or 10 mins to dream that one up. No copyright so feel free to steal the idea.

Or at the last moment as they march him down to the electric chair the Bishop pays him a visit to do the last rights, only the Bishop discovers he is pocessed and so he excommunicates the ghost form the body of the stranger with his cross. The body then falls limp and is pronounced dead, but the ghost who was trapped in the stranger is liberated and by-passes the punishment of dieing again. And returns back to his ghostly life.

As he crosses back over into the ghostly dimension he is confronted by the ghost of the stranger who says "I have been waiting for you" (in a scary voice). End of movie.
