I would invite guys Like Napoleon, Caesar, and Alexander the great, but I think with that much ego at the table there'd be a fight, then again, I'm probably a good deal bigger than all of them,(wee little people, the romans were) so I could handle it. Napoleon talks too much, so he'd have to wait.

I'd have
-Caesar, since Roman history is my favorite. We could talk some military strategy
-Erasmus, he'd tell the jokes
-Jesus, of course, if he didn't exist as one person like the bible tells it, like some say I'd leave this slot open
-Napoleon- Alright, I lied, I couldn't resist having Caesar and Bonaparte at the same table.

Runners up
-Mohammed- be cool to see him with Jesus
-Sir Thomas more, but him and erasmus wouldn't stop bashing the popes.

“Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.”
-Albert Einstein

that would be an interesting dinner, in their comedic prime of course, all four from around 1967.

I don't think there are any four people I would choose.

First, I'd want to have good party. All the people that have been named, would be interesting, but only for a short time. What could you really talk about with Elvis before he nodded off, or before Einstein rambled on about jibberish. My four would be:

1. Kathy (The Party Girll)
2. Bobby Flay
3. Criss Angel
4. Dita Von Tease

There you go; Themed party planner, world class chef, crazy ass magic, and some eye candy. Kathy could start us off with some party favors, Bobby could make a famous dishes and some spreadable desserts for the Dita canvass, Criss could.. I don't know.. saw Kathy in half or something... This is a sounds like an interesting party.

Good times.
Will Ferrel funny guy, I like Owen Wilson the best from this era of movie comics.
Ben Stiller was pretty good for a while, but he seems to have lost it a bit.
'Good times' your name isn't Josh is it?
I used to know a guy who said that all the time.

And the fish wont be raw, it will be steam cooked barramundi with lemon grass and chives, especially for Jesus.

You pull Jesus back from thousands of years of death for a meal and you don't offer him at least a couple of entree selections??

There really aren't any historical people I'd necessarily like to have dinner with. If I'm resurrecting people, I'd rather choose people who were potentially personally meaningful, like my husband's dad, who died when my husband was 3, or my own daughter who died just before she was born, or my aunt, who I didn't get to say good bye to before she died, etc.

Every person is historical in their own little way. And maybe they are famous to the people of their community.
