![]() BANNED Location: between the good and the bad Posts: 1,330 | Um not sure tbh, half of me wants to go up to the local next time I have money and the footy's on, to celebrate the anniversary with a good swill, two pints would probably put me over the edge no trouble, so it wouldn't cost much at least, and then do another year of no booze. And half of me wants to keep going with no anniversary slap up, and try for two years without any grog. I haven't decided yet, I get paid next Thursday, so I'll know by then. |

Hang in there, be steadfast, it's not an impossible goal. But it does require willpower. The Forum Rules Radical Atheist A man who does not think for himself does not think at all...Oscar Wilde |

Anyhow; good luck with whatever you decide to do. A friend of mine has been dry for somewhere approaching 3 years know, but she's a recovered/recovering alcoholic. It's a hard place to be. I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered. -George Best, on being asked what he did with his footballing fortunes. | |
