Wasn't loved as a child? Deep seated need for attention, mother issues, how should I know what makes people feel the need to ridicule things they don't like rather than just feel free to leave.

Dramatic exists are obviously wasted on us. Why can't people act like adults and simply quit logging in if the forum isn't meeting their needs?

I take a more nuanced view.

If -- unlike Para -- you've invested time on a forum but been repeatedly frustrated by the numbskulls you end up debating with, I can see making a statement before you leave. I can also understand logging on to see whether your exit has made any waves.
