I must admit. I had to look up what a "shipper" is. Guess I'm not as attuned to new lingo as I would like to think :)

Shipping (fandom - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

Suppose I could post something that annoys me since I'm in the thread.

1. New slang that is so loosely connected to its derivative word that no-one who isn't already familiar with the word would ever figure out its meaning based on context or the meaning of the subcomponents of the word itself.

Now I'm going to go gle some new cation. (Gle means to search online. Based off of a truncated Google. Google minus the mess. Cation is the butt of communication. Methods of transferring information minus the communism.)

1. Mundane conversations (no fixed standard -- what seems mundane to me one day can be full of meaning the next, due to changing conditions)

2. Pointless activities (throwing a heavy object up in the air so it can land on top of a fan, then turning the fan on so that the object can fall off -- note that I just watched somebody try to do this today).

#1 falls under #2, come to think of it -- I have little patience for things that don't interest me.

Don't feel bad...I just googled it myself.

While I'm here..
1.telemarketers (sometimes they can be amusing)
2.Destruction of property/Vandals.
3.Red tape... as in bureaucracy.
4.Rudeness.
5.Incompetence
6.My vehicle making a strange noise and when I take it to the mechanic, they never hear it.
7.People who cheat on their spouses or use their kids as pawns in divorces.
8. Not getting what I paid for.
9. Condescending attitudes.
10. Irresponsibility.

That you may retain your self-respect, it is better to displease the people by doing what you know is right, than to temporarily please them by doing what you know is wrong.

Don't get me wrong. I just thought it would be funny to have a long list. Especially when some of the numbers used were appropriate. And many of the things on there weren't so little. And most of the little ones were funny. But it just ruins the joke to have to explain it.

You do understand that my response was entirely tongue-in-cheek, don't you? I was merely joking!

And, by the way, there's no such thing as "reverse racism". The word "racism" is all that's needed.

I agree. But sometimes you have to use that kind of lingo so that people will understand what you're talking about. There's a whole thread where some poor people are in denial over the fact that black people can be racist.
