well I'll be damned.... CoD3 does support online capabilities on the Wii.... earlier reports prior to it's release stated it was just single player. bah, nothing conclusive at this stage.... but I did find Medal of Honor Vanguard... but then again, I lost interest in the MoH games after Allied Assault. I was going to get CoD4 for my PC though.

![]() My cousin had that game and looked pretty interesting dealing with various operations and such.... although I kinda lost my interest in Jamanimation, I can tolerate it to a degree ![]() Quote:
(It first started out just hating how cheaply animated the cartoons are on average... some movies like Ninja Scroll are awsome though)

(like resident evil 5, too human, etc..) |

| Igneous Magma Posts: 354 | smash brothers, and no more heros are 2 games i'm waiting for, and the star wars game with the lightsaber attachment has been long awaited. the wii is weaker graphically, so its gonna have different games. i'm actually hoping they dont port the other games cause its just gonna be water down graphics, and the games aren't made for the wii remote. just like its impossible for the ps3 to play a game like trauma center. the animation is just the way they did the storyline, and if it was really really realistic, that would be an insanely complicated game, so they wen't for an anime style. Dragon ball z is an awesome fighting game sorry for the cheap animation, but the original is over 40 years old, and it was one of the greatest fighting show ever. wii has POTENTIAL, and i guess they just have no idea what to do with it yet, they have been getting better, the controls for each new game are smoother and funnier. and like i said, they just need to stop with the freakin mini game games |

all of the systems have potential. but as is usually the case with nintendo systems for the past 10 years or so, 3rd party developers aren't interested. but, duck hunt's out... ![]()

![]() Mass'Debator Posts: 4,730 | Actually one other thing that does appeal about having all the old Nintendo games on one system.... is that they're all on one system. I mean I have all the consoles, but having to hook them all up to play my different games (Which I still do on and off, depending if I got the time to hook them up) having them all on the Wii is a nice way of keeping your entertainment area clean and organized. And they do have the old style controller you buy for the Wii, which looks like a hybrid between the SNES controller and the Gamecube controller: ![]() I mean for the bottom line for me when it comes to games, is it's all about their entertainment value and originality.... if it's not on another system, then it's unique to me. The wii isn't the most powerful, but I have not been disappointed with the GC, or any of the other Nintendo consoles (Except Perhaps the N64 and Virtual Boy) and what I played on the Wii, I prefer it over the other's... but it's all about preference. |

for me, the wii was the first nintendo system that i decided not to buy (i also own a ds). i can still play the old ones if i feel like it, but also own a console that has 3rd party support. playing zelda 53, super mario 452, metroid prime^2 is fun and all, but it's time for some new franchises and new genre innovations. (aside from the innovative bowling in your living room types of games...)

| Igneous Magma Posts: 354 | Retro play is cool but its not what the wii Is famous for praxius seems to love it but other then a few gc games, I haven't played any of the other systems on the wii. Its got plenty of 3rd party games, non of the western giants, but many developers from Japan who's games aren't as graphical but a hell of a lot more addictive and fun. I mean for the 360, you get the better graphics, a lot of vehicles, guns, you can have more things on the screen at once, everything is better then before but nothing genuinely new. Ok the wii is short on good games, but they just started releasing games that aren't minigames last month. Both the fighting games I got are great. Bleach barely has any buttons, I swung the controller, my character swings his sword. Dbz is famous for having terrible games and if you watched the show, it Wouldn't be easy to turn it into a game. This one is hot and on any other system would need 100 buttons and it wouldn't make sense. On the wii I need 4 buttons and controls that use motions that are common sense for the moves their made for. The remote makes a great wheel for any driving game, and the pointer controls are supreme for first person games. The mouse has always been better then an analog for those and a wii remote can give the mouse a run for its money. (if its not better, and the wii remote is still great for other games which the mouse/keyboard suck at) |
