Well.

Technical terms for being drunk in the UK are many and varied....and a dictionary would be no use whatsoever.

I spent a lot of money on booze, birds and fast cars. The rest I just squandered.

I am stuck at his desk all week long so if I don't get out on the weekends, then I feel like a prisoner who is in lockdown.

Hey now, I was just being facetious.

Heh, I'm probably the biggest "loser" in this bunch.

Don't make me go all Costanza on you, and start comparing life stories. I'll win that game.

OK. So, am I the only real loser around here? I get bored on a Friday or Saturday night I feel like debating and harassing people on this discussion forum, and it seems like I'm the only one debating.

Do the rest of you have such a great life that you're doing other things on the weekends while I'm sitting at home?

Keith

(Ok. In the summer I'm on my boat almost every weekend. Maybe that's it, The rest of you are debating while I'm hanging out at the lake and, when it gets cooler, that's when you all have things to do.)

My life hasn't been weekend oriented... for years. Working for yourself tends to do that. Touring also cuts into it. Hence that's why I come and go like the ladies who speak of Michelangelo. (Thanks T.S. for all the inspiration.)

Yep. That's pretty much where I am, too. But, I don't have anything that fancy, just a 25' Catalina sailboat. It's a nice, cozy place to spend a weekend (or a week), though.

Keith

The great thread killer.

Easily explained.

The drunks are many and varied as well.

*Deep Thought*

Hmm...

Much of my Saturday evening was spent wandering around my home... it's rather empty these days. I feel the need to move into something smaller. It's no fun living in a large home by one's self.

Correct me if the story I heard was wrong, but I got a kick out of how they changed the time pubs closed so that they all didn't let out at the same time and then called it "Staggering hours." Isn't that what they're trying to avoid???

Am I loser if I actually went to sleep early Friday night because I had to get up for my LSAT's at 8am Saturday morning?

And my Saturday should have been better, A long island Ice tea with dinner, a whole bottle of some lower end wine after that, a shot of Cap'n and then a few beers and some how I ended up being the sober driver by the end of the night. Also somehow my buddy managed to tear off one of the leather panels on the inside of my car door when I pulled over to let him vomit all over the side of the road. Didn't even realize it was missing till I pulled over to clean up the mess at the gas station after I dropped his ass off.

...damn. Going out is overrated.
