No kidding.

Have we firmly established that Osborn and other gun-jockey's penises are huge and throbbing?

I love how everything has to be a debate.

Instead of a normal, "In my experience guns are faster and more accurate. Why do you, Prax or ZN, favor knives?"

It's the raging steroid "MY COCK IS HUGE AND MY GUNZ PWN"

Have fun, boys.

I can't help but be amused at the thread you see, I have three sons. I'm sitting here smiling at my avatar pic. You can't tell because it's so small, but the tallest one (the middle son) has a big ole scope mark right in the center of his forehead where his uncle had taken him out shooting the day before.

Very mature....your leading by example is obvious......

Thank you for degrading the thread by using the words penis, cock and a general disrespect overall.

I don't own any guns. I have some shrukens that I haven't used in forever, but aside from that I'm fairly weaponless.

Edit: Actually, I take that back. I have a .22 that my grandpa used to hunt wild boar when he was a kid growing up in Panama. I have no idea where the bolt is, though, so I'm not sure if that really counts.

Guns are illegal in most cases in the U.K. and to me that seems extremely sensible. Can I ask the americans whod do have guns why they do? I mean the threat of british colonialists is gone. Are they just for protection against other gun-weilders?

The irony. I don't own a gun and don't plan on it when I'm older. I keep pepper spray and have used it. I've never meet a gun wielding attacker, but I doubt I will.

Guns seem like flying. Both can kill you but we still fly and yet people will keep multiple guns because they either fear they will need them to save their life or keep them waiting for that fantasy day when they march and throw down the regime.

I hunt and sport-shoot.

I carry for self defense because of all the predators that carry illegal firearms in America, intent on using them to take my things. I used to carry my pistol open and visible. But have since rethought this strategy and I carry concealed cross-draw fashion in my left waistband.

You have to understand that this is not Australia or the UK. Simply banning guns outright would only serve as a detriment. We have tons of cocaine, marijuana, illegal guns and PEOPLE that get smuggled into this country from our less than modernized neighbors to the South. Cutting off the law abiding citizens right to own guns would place them in a compromising position.

Sure, accidental shootings would go down dramatically. But we would see an extraordinary increase in firearms crime. The rapist, burglars and muggers would no longer fear reprisal from the citizens.

Well for hunting I see as possibly more acceptable, maybe unnecassary but i have nothing against hunting. I also see the problem that you percieve but I think it may be true that, to misquote slightly, "if you live by the gun you die by the gun". A culture which allows guns will have more gun-crime, at least that's what I think.

P.s. I think i've accidentally quoted Tupac.

Well I don't "live by the gun". There is a difference between those whom live their lives walking that line and those whom stay on well on their side of the line.

I don't get arrested fighting "niggas" outside of strip clubs. I don't pull my gun when some "nigga" fronts on me.

My hollowed point 45 rounds have extraordinary knockdown power. I need only hit you anywhere to not only cause a serious wound, but to knock you down. It really is quite impressive over the knockdown power of, for example, a 9mm.

Also, I shoot living things all the time. Many times whilst these living things are making a hasty escape. Granted, its not the same thing as having to deal with the fear factor as something is coming at you, intent on killing you.
As seen here;
YouTube - LION ATTACKS HUNTER (JUST MISSES)

So your point is valid.
That's all I'm saying... I'm not black and white on the subject, much like I'm not black and white on a lot of things in here... I'm just basically wanting to point out that a blade when in the hands of an experienced person, much as a firearm, isn't something to scoff at or to take lightly, as there is potiential that they can do just as much damage depending on situations.

And for further imaturaty:

Interactive Scene in Resident Evil 4 - The Knife Fights were fun as hell. Although in this scene it ends with a gun
YouTube - Resident Evil 4 (Wii) - Chapter 5-3 The Knife Fight

But this Scene was also cool:

If that was meant as entertainment, you have done well.
Yeah, what was he thinking posting a link to a video of Miami Vice. Oh wait, that was you.

In all seriousness, I have a non-functional (too many pointy parts than just the blade) knife and a short sword similar to your Tonto. I'm not sure exactly what it's called since I didn't buy it myself but received it as a gift. I don't use either, I have them put away. I also have an Airsoft gun I carry around with me on occasion if I'm out late taking a walk and don't feel like getting a rabies shot after getting into a fight with a stray.

I have trained a bit with the Glock 19 though I don't possess one. Apparently I could pass the police qualifying test with it. I'm also quite good with the MP5. I only got to go shooting with one once, but I just couldn't miss with that thing.

Realistically I rely on myself as a weapon. I've become relatively proficient in Judo and Hapkido and to a lesser extent Taekwondo. I think my size keeps most people from trying to start sh*t with me, though.

What makes a man turn neutral? Lust for gold? Power? Or were you just born with a heart full of neutrality?

I rarely carry unless I feel like I will need to. And even then, only when I'm by myself.

Odds of survival increase if you don't threaten your assailant in any way.

No reason to present myself as a threat.

I own arms for self-protection from all force wielding entities, be it criminal, foreign attack, or corrupted government from within.

Its for protection against unjust force wielders, regardless of the instrument of force being wielded.

Are you good for anything other than personal insults?

Do you deny the person in the video is a trained gun professional?

Do you deny the obvious lesson I was pointing out in the video?

Yepper!

My one time pulling my gun was to diffuse an angry idiot that was road raging, trying to open my truck door to have a fist fight. He rethought his strategy quite quickly and the situation went from violent to peaceful, from the use of a gun.

How many times has someone attempted to mug you while you were armed?

How many times has someone attempted to mug me since I've stopped carrying?

I'm clean, well-groomed, well-dressed, and I park my car in one of the most famous ghettos in the city because it is free. In 30 years of not being armed, I have never once been mugged.

I carry $20 in a wallet in my back pocket. I carry my credit cards, IDs, and other cash in a different pocket. I told to give my wallet, I have something to give quickly and immediately.

Just because you are insecure and afraid doesn't mean I have to be.

From the brandishing of a gun, not the use.

And you were lucky.

He had freedom of movement outside your vehicle and you were inside.

He could have easily shot you.

Besides, you were in a vehicle, right?

Was it on?

Could you have just driven away?

There are always alternatives to violence.

I had him sighted. No way he could have drawn down on me. The adrenaline was pumping, I was ready to shoot his ass. He made a loud proclamation with many a witness; "I'm gonna beat the f*cking sh*t out of you." Giving me just cause for deadly force if necessary.

He cut me off from the front. I had a vehicle right behind me almost touching my bumper. The man was angry that my tires squealed while accelerating from a stop sign in his neighborhood. What he didn't know and would not afford me the opportunity to explain to him was my transmission was slipping, which was the culprit of the tire squeal.

He came up from behind me, almost hit a car in the opposing lane and cut me off from the front. So no, there was no escape. Other than to bail out of my vehicle and run like a b*tch.

And see?

Specifics are good.

Saying, "I showed my gun" makes you sound like an ass.

Giving the details as to why your gun was the most effective solution, and why it was, in your case, one of the only solutions... as well as that you kept him sighted until you could leave the area... sounds much more reasonable.
