Since there is some debate as to the powers of the police or how they can detain a suspect I thought I'd post this clip: http://www.ziddio.com/oneVideo.zd?di...tifactId=32831 So...aside from the humor anyone really think its a case of police abuse? I will say it looked as though the cop was a bit rougher than necessary, but I think the reason for arrest was more than valid. It's almost as if the pepper spray was to be associated with a "learning experience". I'm naturally biased myself, not only against messy drunks, but against the authority figure as well, so I was reluctant to comment. My unbiased arbitrators opinion would be that the cop was just a bit quick on the pepper spray. |

I totally agree with that position. I wouldn't want the cop run out of town, or anything for such a small offense, but I do still see this as the cop being quick on the draw. | |
