My cat "Little Monster" is big trouble but is cute looking. My other cat "Minnie the Moocher" is too socialistic. "Boots" is too fat and lazy, and they do represent the idealisms of independance and freedom, as long as they all get a free lunch.

If we used computers instead of people for our government that would make the budgeting cheaper accordinng to Al Gore. So we would have a gaint TV monitor in the U.N. buidling with some animated President and people could log on and what ever most people said, he would repeat that message after tabulating the input. This is clearly the wave of the future. The Gateway to a new era of poltical technology. Yep. A "techno-president". We can have Bill Gates and Al Gore create the new techno President and our new globalized cyberspace government, along with that guy in Japan who created Godzilla. |

It would be very interesting to see the predictions of the over-population crowd (was that Malthus?) come up against Universal Anarchism. Think of the giant leap Humankind would experience under survival of the fittest constraints. "Everybody knows that the boat is leaking Everybody knows that the captain lied." - Leonard Cohen |

If we can't solve internal civil problems in one little country, how can we solve them in one giant united country? By being more smart. (irony intended). I nominate Stephen Colbert/Rick Mercer also. Ever see a politician with a sense of humor? Nope. These guys would own global leadership and make us laugh at the same time. This time we'd be laughing with them, not at them. Your place in the world should not be determined by authority figures. Furthermore, please elaborate on my views about the overpopulation problem. You apparently know what they are, so enlighten me. Once countries become just locations on maps, we will have solved many of our problems. Grandpa h. "Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities." ~Voltaire

My respect ends ends for arguments that unthinkingly address anarchism as nothing but a cartoonish stereotype. The worst is when people ask me "And where would it go?", as if I would be dictator of the world, determining every step a population takes. There are ways to approach the overpopulation problem that do not involved "survival of the fittest." I think the obtuseness of the existing human condition is truly monumental, and made that way by a lot of superstitions. Birth control and education in general helps address population problems, yet religions tend to attack it by various methods most of us know. Also, a lot of pollution and bad environmental policies help make food shortages ever closer to being reality. For example, people seem to not consider desertification as a serious issue. Grandpa h.
