Why do you debate?

What personally motivates you to debate on Volconvo?

Do you have a personal objective when discussing your ideas here?
If so, what is it?

And without getting into details or arguments, which subject/topic/idea is of most interest to you?

Both learning about and from others, and teaching others what I can.

I have always loved conflict. In every original piece I write it is the central motif. I love to talk about why separation of Church and state is a good thing.

Pray for me, I'll think for you.

I debate when I have an opinion about something and want to throw it in. Plus I am very argumentative at times.

I joined these forums mainly because I enjoy posting on forums and this being a debate forum, it is always active and has new stuff to read.

the number 12 looks like you.

It's just a passtime. Sometimes I get a new perspective or give one. Mostly it's just hack, hack, hack.

I like puzzles. That's why I get frustrated when my opponent withdraws into a brick wall - it's like someone lodging a rock in your rubix cube.

If I think I'm correct about a certain idea, I test it by trying to defend it here. Then I know I'm right.

Anything objective. It's my position that any reasonable subjective debate turns into an agreement to disagree.

I want to know other's views on any subject of spritualism, philosophy, science, religion and the like. Comparing those views with that of mine and finally post the result and enjoy watching others reactions.
