I was invited by prettyproudusa@aol.com to join her AOL Group "GOP" , when I tried talk sense into them I was Kickd Out. Below is an example, enjoy that, and I'll follow that up with a retort of mine to one of them...as they still email me even though I was removed from their group and some of them block me from returning email. Thank God Sean doesn't take sides, but then again I knew her site was for GOP, but I'm a Republican so I felt compelled to help these Poor misguided souls since the Group's founder sent me an Invitation.

I'm wondering why your link doesn't show anything but a blank Reuters page. I'm wondering why not another single media outlet is reporting this episode, including Reuters. My advice to you Young, fwiw. Keep it simple. Focus on one or two ideas, source your arguments, try to use standardized capitalization and paragraphs. You are getting ignored here because people can't make their way through the shrubbery...

I have to agree it is a tough read, and I got nowhere with the links. But I understand you have a LOT to say, and what I got from your post seems pretty convincing. You might want to break it up and post on some of the other threads too.

The beginning of the topic reminded me of one of the things that hvae brought me to this board. Clicking on a link to view the text of Al Gore's 'fire everybody' speech I ended up on a site dedicated to drafting Gore as the Democratic nom. for President this year because they think Kerry isn't good enough and Gore should be President anyways.

I quoted part of the speech, disagreed with the statement, and moved on to other topics on the board. Of course, it didn't help that I registerd my user name as ElectGeorgeBush, but I found myself banned from the site. I thought I'd get in some disagreement, hear the other side and engage in some fun debate. Instead I wasn't even allowed to view the posts any more.

So, same story, different site.
