Therapy that works

Therapy that works

Just in case you are having a rough day, here is a stress management technique recommended in all the latest psychological journals.

The funny thing is that it really does work and will make you smile.

1. Picture yourself lying on your belly on a warm rock that hangs out over a crystal clear stream.

2. Picture yourself with both your hands dangling in the cool running water.

3. Birds are sweetly singing in the cool mountain air.

4. No one knows your secret place.

5. You are in total seclusion from that hectic place called the world.

6. The soothing sound of a gentle waterfall fills the air with a cascade of serenity.

7. The water is so crystal clear that you can easily make out the face of the person you are holding underwater.

See? It really does work. You're smiling already!!

Athena,
Thanks for the giggle.

Drowning at my hands for the specific person I have in mind is far too easy. I want them to suffer. (it's a long story) The thought of being imprisoned (or worse) for their death isn't something I want to think about so I prefer their demise be caused by their own actions.

I picture:

1) Them going off a cliff in a fiery automobile crash.

2) They survive, burns covering 50% of their body and numerous broken bones, but they are alert and coherent.

3) They spend months in ICU undergoing numerous skin grafts.

4) They neglect to pay the premiums and have no insurance (health or life)

5) They are investigated by the IRS and all their assets are frozen or confiscated.

6) Upon completion of the IRS audit, they loose their business.

7) They die alone and afraid.

8) I go to the funeral, tell his wife how "sorry" I am as I flash her a big smile.

9) I visit the cemetery and piss on his grave.

10) I throw a huge party in celebration that I am finally free at last.

Ahhhhhhhh....I feel so much better now! :)

That you may retain your self-respect, it is better to displease the people by doing what you know is right, than to temporarily please them by doing what you know is wrong.

You must really be pissed at someone. Hopefully, in time you won't even think this person is worth the energy for all this mental work. I can remember someone I felt that angry towards, and thanks to you, realize I no have the energy to think about him or generate the feelings of anger.

If, on the other hand, you could have trained your mind better so that roughness of the day would have remained in day only and not joined you in the evening; then there would have been no need of any therapy.

Self training therapy is the best of all theraphies !
