![]() Volcanic Erupter Location: Oregon Posts: 5,297 | acknowledgements I hate competition as in the awards thread, but realized plenty of people deserve acknowledgement, not just this week, but whenever they do something admirable. Like in the Virtues circles, we all acknowledge the strengths we see in each other. I appreciate and admire the following: Perhaps I should begin with Jason, for taking on the challenge of making Volconvo succeed. I see improvements, and we wouldn't have this opportunity if we didn't have a good leader. Kuldeep, for his different point of view, and how peaceful he remains! I admire him for his tenacity and remaining despite our failure to grasp his point of view. Tiny Bear also chimes in once in awhile with a different point of view that wakes up my consciousness. She too has tenacity. Shrike has tenacity for sure. Gallo seems to have a good grasp of science, but unfortunately, he can be so offensive I can't read what he writes anymore, unless he is quoted. Zhavric is doing us a real service by encouraging us to learn the rules of logic. Technosoul has lifted my spirits many times. This is not the limit of people I appreciate. It is the limit of my memory at the moment. I know I have sent many of you thank you PM's and unless this thread disappears on a back page, I will return with acknowledgements as they come to mind. Dawn falls Eve. Enlightenment falls the darkness. |

I could not wholy agree that competitions are undesirable. Or, your hating competitions is correct. Acknowledgments should be made as suggested, but I look acknowledgements as the secondary action of primary competitions or comparisons only. Unless, we compare or compete, how can we acnowledge??? To my mind competition is the driving force to improve, while acknowledgement is consloment or encouragement for the efforts put. Materialistic or monetary greed one might be able to wipe out with some logic but, greed of fame is a bit to difficult to conquer. Any one who can conquer the greed of faith even is a super - man. His path to know the absoulte truth is chalked out!!!!l! |
