Yeah, those who think Jesus was essentially "sinless" are nuts. That government is best which governs the least, because its people discipline themselves. - Thomas Jefferson

Do you not understand that males have a natural sex drive to attempt to prevent their species from becoming extinct? To relieve their sex drive, males can either: A) have sex. B) masturbate. C) have wet dreams (an alternate form of B). Which would you prefer to see? You have already criticized masturbation, so would you prefer to see men having sex with women every time they feel sexual desires? If men don't have sex or masturbate, then the result is having "wet dreams," which is basically the same thing as masturbation. That government is best which governs the least, because its people discipline themselves. - Thomas Jefferson

Either way, if that's how you enjoy your sex life, all the power to you. To me, you sound more like you're into S&M/Dominatrix stuff but without actually saying it, but that's just what I gather. ![]() |

| Daughter of God Location: California Posts: 670 | I'm nuts because I believe that Jesus was and is sinless? How so? One of the essential beliefs in Christianity is that Jesus was and is sinless, otherwise God could not have provided a propitiation for our sins. So essentially, you're calling every Christian insane....hmmmm |

Thus, rubbing your private parts is deviate sexual desire -- it's abnormal. We must keep in mind that just because a majority does whatever, it doesn't make it morally right. If 55% of the worlds population smoked cigarettes, does this make it right? Love, Madeline |

| Ainsi soit-je Posts: 392 | The dreams and fantasies that you experience during a wet dream are a direct result of your desires in real life. Whether you are conscious or not when you fantasize about these desires is irrelevant. That government is best which governs the least, because its people discipline themselves. - Thomas Jefferson |

| Igneous Magma Posts: 365 | I would disagree with there being no difference. I don't believe either one to be 'dirty' but to masturbate you are willfully putting yourself in the state of mind to do so. You are also the one doing the act. You are in control, and that is the difference. I believe Madeleine would not say that it is a sin to have a wet dream or an erection, because that is not something you have direct control over, it's not a concsious will. But your masturbation habit is completely under your control. |

Though, Madeline, you still have not answered one of my first questions. Why do you think masturbation is dirty? That government is best which governs the least, because its people discipline themselves. - Thomas Jefferson

Jesus is God incarnate, and God is absolutely Holy and Righteous and cannot sin because it is against His immutable nature. If Jesus sinned then all hope for Christianity is LOST. Jesus was sacrificed because of our sins, and only a perfect sacrifice (without blemish) is able to make a propitiation for our sins. Ok, I'll get off my soapbox! ![]() |

Oh and I don't want to stop masturbating, why should I? Your idea that lust is wrong is ludicrous, its a perfectly natural and impossible to escape part of life for the majority of people. Trying not to 'lust' is like trying to block a hole in a dam with sand.
