When we supported them, they were freedom fighters, not terrorists. Hey, if they turned into terrorists, we weren't told. We're not terrorists. Nor do we support terrorism. We're the good guys. Always remember that!

A row has also broken out in Washington over whether to "unleash" the military wing of the Mujahedeen-e Khalq (MEK), an Iraq-based Iranian opposition group with a long and bloody history of armed opposition to the Iranian regime.

The group is currently listed by the US state department as terrorist organisation, but Mr Pike said : "A faction in the Defence Department wants to unleash them. They could never overthrow the current Iranian regime but they might cause a lot of damage."

Once those terrorists help us (i.e. the good guys), they become reformed (ex-)terrorists. So in other words, they have repented on their terrorist ways. It's OK to support them then, 'cos they're no longer bad guys. Get it?

It says a row has broken out in the State Department. That means we haven't decided yet. We won't use these guys until they are reformed. Get it?

Why do you continually state that the United States are the "good guys?"

Are you that full of national pride so as to not admit your country's mistakes? Or are you simply brainwashed?

We make mistakes (who doesn't? ), but we're still the good guys. Hey, good guys make mistakes too, don't they?

Yes, if you use Americas "definition" of "terrorist sympathizer nations".

The hypocrisy is saddening, isn't it.

I dislike hypocrisy. So why don't we come right out and say it? We'll help those who help us and destroy those who threaten us.

Because political correctness and the wave of nanny-statism that is enveloping this nation, combined with the sheeple count, would prevent that tactic from being successful.

(edit to add)

WHILE STILL MAINTAINING TWO PARTY DOMINANCE, which is the bi-partisan goal, at all costs.

We don't "sympathize" with terrorists. OK, sometimes we use terrorists to kill other terrorists and we pay them to do it (in some way or other). It's perfectly OK. After they kill those terrorists we want killed, we'll kill them. :)

There isn't any reason to think Americans never synpathize with terrorists, seeing as to how our government functions as a terrorist organization.

The fact that I've paid taxes links me with a massive terrorist organization.

How about the fact that it engages in terrorism?

Read about WACO, and then read about RUBY RIDGE, and tell me that isn't federal and state sponsored terror.

Read about the truth Tiny, not what the media highlights.

The list of terror that is linked to this nation goes back 100+ years, but mainly in foreign policy and actions.

Because our government is directly involved in campaigns of violence that kill people throughout the world. The Iraq War is an obvious example of state-terrorism. There are countless others. How about US support for Indonesia's slaughter of the East Timorese or our devastating activities in El Salvador?

To see why governments are bad, all one has to do is some minimal research.

I would agree, except that I would say "to see why governments who are given a blank check to use force, in their peoples names are bad...."

People have a right to defend their nations, but all governments are not all bad, nor are properly limited governments easily made bad.
