Ok, but in fact you did warn me, gave me 2 points for one offense which included 0 insults. I do find what I said being reported a tad bit much....come on Sean..these people ALL post a poke and jab in fun.

ho hum. I won't argue with you about it because in the end it is no reflection on me.

It was takin to the Boiler Room because the issue has been resolved. I had a nice chat with Sean over this and I think he sees that some people try to mask insults behind a false wall of honest disagreement on the issue of religion.

No one I know will ever complain about someone not believing in religion. That's your choice.

But insulting people who belive in God, Jesus and the like is not only uncalled for, but immature.

Rick, you have no problem when Gorgo calls religion a mental disorder, but you get all bentt out of shape when I say homosexuality is.

The hypocrits are those that say nary a word when Christians and other religious believers get insulted, but go ballistic when you even mention anything about homosexuality that isn't praises and love.

That was the point of the thread I started, and so many of you jumped in to prove my point!

I would agree. Much of my family is religious. They are not stupid. Again, people who believe in god(s) are much of society. They're great people. Mr.Vicchio, i'm sure, is great people. I have no animosity towards religious people and do not agree with insults against them.

I do think they're deluded. I also think that there are things that I am deluded about. That's no insult.

I do think that religion has become something that we can't talk about. Mr.Vicchio would call it PC. It is a sacred cow.

See that last part, that's your opinion. We can discuss religion all day, but when you interject infalmmatory comments into threads, and oyu know exactly the instance I like to use to prove my point, that comment served no purpose and you know it.

You could have said "I wouldn't ask my kids to seek somneone who never did exsist to cure a non-problem" And I would have had no grounds to get upset.

But you didn't you worded your little slam to be as insulting as oyu thought you could get away with.

We all know Gorgo, that you think there is nothing to religion that can't be explained by science, and that believers have deluded themselves instead of facing reality.

That's fine, but that doesn't give oyu a right to insult others or thier beliefs. You know this, I know this, and if you can quit doing that, maybe we can have a nice long drawn out debate on the subject.
