It basically goes like this: For instance, a really poor person on the street might be at the lowest level. A teenager might be at the social/belonging level. A baby might be at the lowest physiological/biological level. So at what level are you at right now? Is anyone who says they're self-actualized really self-actualized? Do you even agree with this model? For instance, Maslow argues the basic physiological needs include sex. Is sex a basic need? Since we're on the topic of psychology, what's your opinion on Erikson's psychosocial developmental model? Make sure to vote in the poll. Last edited by Epistemologist; Mar 19, 2007 at 10:24 am. | Paladin Location: Narnia Posts: 4,277 | I would usually say that I am at the top, however lately I am having some problems with level three. I'm probably going to lose (am losing...) a lot of my friends. My love life is, well, really, really, really f***ed up. No pun intended, as I don't do that. And my fmr. best friend currently has my only love wrapped around her little finger. If they get any more serious, I may have to leave the state. Permanently. Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. -- Song 8:6 |
