I am the sky and the stars. Zinkovich is up there, don't forget. Obviously, this must be "real"- after all, you're thinking about me as all those things now, aren't you? Now that the image is there much like it is for the animists, I can safely have a religion started about me, right? Awesome. I can become God if I put my mind to it. Just give me time and soon everybody will join in. Isn't language affecting reality great?

Go ahead and put it out of your mind. Thanks to language-based images affecting reality, even with you thinking it for a second gave me a second as the God of the Clouds himself. Damn, I love existence. now there's some version of me chilling out there as Cloud God of the heavens now. I wish him the best of luck.

This is the seconed post I've seen about her. I'm starting to think Patrick Henry might be right, she might not have staying power, then again this controversial begings could be the start of a new regular.

No, I'll literally give it to her. I'm saying it to her right now. Because of this, she will be the life of the party. All of her friends will want to be at her beck and call. I guess I'm just that generous, giving her my language and culture reality like that. I'm just that aweomse of a dude.

(Seriously though I'd just wish she could put more care into her posts' structure- I've seen her accidentally contradict herself twice already but don't have the heart to use these contradictions as I'm sure they're there by accident because of the difficulty of using her sort of writing style)

I've only seen a few of her posts, isn't she kind of notrious for general writing problems? Such as lack of periods? I could be wrong having not been following this one too much.

I think she's trying to avoid writing "academically" but I'm not sure. Regardless, it's making the nuances of her arguments less pronounced and is causing her arguments to seemingly collapse on top of one another.

For example, in one thread she tell me reality is language-based, then she later says as a rebuttal that reality is language based but that doesnt mean what the language makes works or is the truth. The implied premises aren't nearly as bad as how she's saying them makes them appear, but unfortunately she's botching it up with her attempts at speaking in a nonstructured manner.

Edit: Mods, if you would like to move this to miscellaneous now, you can. Until I get an argumentative response, this thread is probably not going to lead anywhere, philosophically speaking.

Bah, I wasn't meaning to when I started. Satire is just as philosophical as any aristotlean axiom you can manage to cook up on a subject.

It certainly does! Language is very important to interpretation. Construction however, not so much.

For example, I want you to stand in a field. Now, say "brick, brick, brick, brick, brick, brick, brick, brick, brick, brick, brick, brick, brick, brick, brick, brick, brick, brick, brick, brick" until you have enough bricks for a wall. IF you don't then perhaps, just perhaps, language doesn't have magical extrospectice powers. Introspective maybe- I could probably convince myself I was a rabbit if you gave me lots and lots of LSD and reapeated to me that I was a rabbit over and over again- but making a leaning tower of pisa by saying "TOWER!
