O'Reilly

I found this edited video to be absolutely hilarious. Take a look:

YouTube - Rise of the Falafels

...which is an edited video of O'Reilly's real program:

YouTube - Bill O'Reilly responds to the Fairies (ext. version)

EDIT: Oh dear, I believe I posted this in the wrong section. Could a moderator somehow move it into General Discussion?

Thanks.

The Colbert Report - O'Reilly On The Colbert Report

Though I think there's a difference between someone's children praising their father and then having your children spout about a whole bunch of extreme shit. What's more believable?

That someone's children think their dad is great? Or that someone's children is so concerned with religion as a whole "inciting violence" that they produced a you-tube video to say phrases they can barely pronounce?

What makes a man turn neutral? Lust for gold? Power? Or were you just born with a heart full of neutrality?

I don't care for O'Reilly. But that vid (the original one) just sickens me. It's horrible to do that to a kid. Poor thing is going to be seriously messed up. And the parents should be shot.

Why do you think she is going to be "seriously messed up"? Do you honestly believe she knows what she is saying?

That's the point: she doesn't. She's being brainwashed. You can tell because no one that did not truly believe those things and wish to indoctrinate the child to them would make a child do something like that. And she's not going to forget by the time she will know what she has said. And what will she have been brainwashed to believe by then?

O'Reilly is such an egomanical ass. He has gotten into trouble over his comments about child abuse related to the Shawn Hornbeck kidnapping. If the fool would just apologize or say that he misspoke, the contraversy would all go awawy. But instead he just keeps digging the hole deeper.

O'Reilly, unapologetic for remarks about the "fun" had by kidnapping victim, claimed of rape allegations, "[W]e all knew this was coming"
Quote:
Summary: After being criticized for saying that a 15-year-old kidnapping victim "liked his circumstances," Bill O'Reilly repeatedly vowed to "apologize" if he was "wrong." The man accused of kidnapping the boy has now been charged with sexually assaulting him as well. In reporting on the new charges, O'Reilly not only failed to apologize, but did not mention his previous remarks at all.
O'Reilly pulled the same bone-headed stunt when he claimed on two or was it three, seperate instances that the Americans had massacred Germans at Malmady, in the Battle of the Bulge, rather than the other way around. O'Reilly continues to claim that he got that right too, even if the historical record totally contradicts his version of events.

You do not know that the parents forced the child to say such things. Of course they are not her ideas, but there is no evidence to suggest that she was physically forced to say these things.

You do not know that she is being brainwashed either.

Don't get me wrong; I oppose such a video also. If an adult doesn't have the guts to get on camera and state such views, then he/she should not have a child do it for them.

Well, I didn't say she did it at gunpoint or anything. But you can bet it wasn't her idea. That was what I meant. Parents have their own kind of duress, and it doesn't even have to be overt.
