We shouldn't have ever gone over there in the first place. I believe the tragedy that happened back on 9-11, I believe the powers that be knew, if not the exact event, something was in the works. Roosevelt knew about the attack on Peral Habor before it happened so it's not such an absurd idea that Bush knew the same about 9-11.
Yes, we had a reports about that in the news before but they got kind of subdued. A CIA person had in informed Rice about Ben Laden but she apparently did not pass on his concern to the President. And Bill Clinton had made a point of giving Bush a pass-down about how dangerous Ben Laden was (because he was connected to other bombings and Clinton had already missle attacked one of this training camps). It was then up to Bush to follow-up on what Clinton had started but Bush did nothing until 9-11. Bush was also aware of the threats Laden made on tape when interviewed by an American reporter before 9-11, concerning his announced "holy war on Americans". And the Vice President had close business relationships with other family members of the Ben Laden clan.

Iran has shut down it nuclear enrichment program according to the Atomic Energy Agency. It will remain shut down until new talks with the U.N. can be undertaken and perhaps until after President Bush leaves office.

Women of Irag are speaking out about the new Consitution of Iraq which was written by men who have fundamental Islamic points of view, they claim that womens rights were taken away form them in that consitution.

9 men of the USA troops were killed today in a roadside bombing near Bagdad Irag. The worse attack in months.

In Afganistan protesters are marching with signs saying "Death To Americans". The protest was about two attacks conducted by our USA military on innocent people in Afganistan. One house was bombed killing many children and women, and one man. In another incident a roadside bomb blew up new our military vehicles and so troops fired at everyone on that road, blowing up many cars contianing innocent citizens of Afganistan.
When a freelance reporter attempted to photograph a car full of dead children a army man made him turn over his camera so that the images could be deleted, and the reporter was told " give me your camera or I will take your life".

A 6.3 earthquake struck the island of Sumatra killing a least 70 people and distroying many buildings.

Fox news spent 12 times more coverage to the Anna Nicole Smith funeral then they did to cover the Walter Reed hospital's treatment of Vets.

Well, here in So California we are having a record breaking heat wave and tempts are up into the 90s where I live. It is expected to continue for the rest of the week.

That is my review of todays news for March 6.

March 8.

PRESIDENT BUSH IS UNDER-STAFFING TROOPS IN IRAG.

Bush announced sending in 21.500 troops to protect a couple of neighborhoods in Irag and so far the Democrats have been helpless to prevent the surge. However General Raymond Odierno who is the Day-to-day Commander of the troops in Irag is recomending at least 16.000 troops be sent in and that they should remain there for a year, extending into the year 2008. Meanwhile the Pentigon has approved sending in twenty two hundred Military Police on top of the 21,500 Combat troops being sent by President Bush, in addition to the combat troops another 2,400 military support troops will be added. The numbers continue to rise and it does not look like troops will be coming home any time soon. Democrats have agreed to allow Bush to continue the war until the fall of 2008.

IRAN REJECTS E.U. DEMAND.

The Euorpean Union is demanding that Iran stop all nuclear activities as a condition to "talks" but Iran has rejected that saying that Iran is willing to set down to talks ASAP but that it will not start talks with pre-conditions. They claim that those rules are illigal.

BUSH IMPEACHMENT

is being called for by nearly thirty towns in the state of Vermon, as well as the impeachment of V.P Cheney.

PRESIDENT BUSH STARTS HIS SIX DAY HOP AROUND SOUTH AMERICA. The purpose of the tour will be to inform people in South America what us American people are really about. He will teach them that we believe in (1) education for all, (2) human rights and human dignity. Thousands of protesters are expected to gather when he makes stops at different countries throughout South America.

IMIGRANT RAID LEAVES CHILDREN IN DANGER.
Hundreds of children were left without parents to tend to them when police raid a factory suspected of hiring undocumented workers from South America, At the Brianco Lether goods factory in Massacusetts today.

PRESIDENT BUSH HIRES PRIVATE MILITARY.

The Bush White House has hired a private military at the cost of ten million dollars to be sent to Somolia to fight for a peacekeeping mission. The para-military company getting the USA contract is called DynCorp.

STUDENTS SUSPENDED FROM SCHOOL FOR FREEDOM OF SPEECH VIOLATIONS.

In New York three students were suspended from school for saying the word vagina during a school play where the script contained that word. The girls being punished said they did not see anything wrong with speaking about their own body parts.

Supreme Court rules in favor of the right to bear arms by overturning a Washington DC ban of all guns within city limits. Before you had to have as special permit to keep a gun or any kind. The Washington DC mayor was upset about the ruling as stats showed that crime had been reduced where guns were used in the city since the ban went into effect. And also because the President and other important people are in the city limits and they are sometimes the targets for snipers. New York also has such a ban in effect.

While in Brazil President Bush visited their bio-fuel production areas where they make gasoline out of surgar cane. Found out that in the USA we can use corn to produce bio-fuels for our cars. Over 90 percent of the gas pumps in Brazil offer bio-fuels making them non-dependant on forien oil companies.
Some sort of "bio-fuel treaty" was signed but not sure of the details of that agreement. The state of New York has only one station offering bio-fuel
gasolines. While in Brazil an estimated 33,000 protesters took to the streets to boo President Bush for a number of reasons.

President Bush will veto any law passed by Congress that would give a timetable for ending the war in Irag. The present plan will end the war in Aug. of 2008 but is still up for a vote in Congress. A number of Democrats will not vote for the binding resolution because "It would only mean funding the war for another year" and they want to bring the troops home ASAP. President Bush might as well still be in control of Congress inspite of the turn over effected by voters in the last election, unless stronger measures are taken.

Isreal has resumed it's practice of using human sheilds to protect it's troops while conducting house raids in occupied areas of the Palestinian sector, they used an 11 year old girl and other Palestinian citizens during those raids according to 3rd party watchdog groups.

Newt Gingrich is going to make a run as the Republican conservative canidate for President this fall, he announced on a Christian network that he had an affair outside of this marrage at the same time that President Clinton was under attack by Newt Gingrich for doing the same thing. He wanted to confress now so that it does not become an issue later on when he makes his final announcment to request the nomination.

Mass. urges the Feds not to transfer jailed undocumented workers from the state until all their children can be located and cared for. It is estimated that about 100 children are stranded without their mothers who had jobs at the factory where the arrests were made. One infant was already hospitalized because it had nothing to drink. So far the Feds have transferred half of the people arrested to the Texas detainment camp awaiting deportation form the USA.

Doctors are being asked not to prescribe a number of drugs being promoted by the Drug companies on TV because of the dangerous side effects, and because they do little to improve the conditions of the patients. The drug companies have agreed to re-lable their products to inform folks about the dangers of those drugs that make up the 3 billion dollar a year (profit) sales.
A search of the web under news would give you details of which drugs represent those unneeded dangers, NBC carried one story about this.
Presently Doctors get paid by drug companies as a kick-back for prescribing certain name brands and other perks for their salesmanship of those products being that the medical system is unregulated by the government concerning such human safty issues.

That is the global news as I spin it for March 10.

The Democratic Withdraw bill was defeated. Barbara Boxer a Democrat said that the voters want our troops home by the end of this year, and not at the end of 2008 which is the date the majority of Democrats came up with. Two other Democrats voted agenst the bill as well a the Republicans who claimed victory in the matter of any "withdraw plan".

The USA Climate Agency announced that 2007 was the warmest year on record and that 2008 will most likely break that record, (as Global Warming continues). Relative to the area of the USA.

High winds might be expected along with some rain or snow for parts of the USA.

In California the city of S.F. has banned plastic bags and markets can no longer use them. The stores are mad because the "environmentally safe" bags cost too much to give out, and paper bags are not popular, and they also cost a little more. The bags present a number of problems, one of which is that the straps can get caught around a small animal or child and they cannot be torn loose with ease, and this can cause death, especially with pets or wild animals.

A bunch more people were killed in Irag today.

President Bush stated that if the Democrats do not remove the deadline the voters will blame them for not supporting the troops. The Democratic house speaker said "Mr. Bush you cannot threaten us, this is a NEW Congress".
The "budget stand-off" continues, concerning Bush's request for more money to fight the war in Irag.

That is our world in a nut shell.
