| pregnant with truth Posts: 2,419 | sonart was a great debator. based on this criteria. 1.he was all business. I mean he wasn't impersonal exactly. Just to the point and above namecalling with the other posters. not terribly verbose. somewhat boring but 2. put together well structured arguments. Definitly wasn't prone to erratic statements. There was no mystery in his position 3. he didn't just put forth statements. nearly the entire post was orange. Some of the newer members missed a good debator. I believe Sonart was a major part of the atmosphere here when I joined. |

| formerly Isherwood Location: San Diego, CA Posts: 14,165 | Dude, do you know how many Starbucks are out here? Actually, I don't either. Anyway, even though I live on coffee, I don't think I'd survive just hitting all the Starbucks in a single neighborhood. I got the impression he lived somewhere near the beach. That would narrow it down to about 60 miles of shoreline. The Forum Rules Radical Atheist Heathen Queer Let's agree to respect each others views, no matter how wrong yours may be. You could probably still e-mail him. It was cool meeting Milton, Osborn and gr8fuldaniel... | redneck scum Location: Cut n Shoot, Texas Posts: 835 | I remember Sonart from some of my first arguments at Volconvo........actually, we started out by agreeing on one thing here (post #86), and wound up arguing about something else. He was certainly more balanced than many of the others I encountered there, several of whom also appear on most of the above lists. As for my "top ten", I don't think I've accumulated enough candidates to fill a list half so long......but Sonart and fonceai would be possibilities, were they still participating. Carry on. Why do I not trust the left? Could it be that familiarity has reared the distasteful expectation sired by past offense? Only The Shadow knows... |

| Volcanic Erupter Posts: 4,375 | Nice avatar, leftcider. As an outsider, I noticed that many of the best debaters on this forum were unnoticed because they were, to be blunt, assholes. I think if they would only have written their posts and then edited out the attitude they would have been seen as some of the great ones. |
