| Sedimentary Rock Posts: 2 | Evolution Unfortunately, as with all religious debates, it does all come down to either a matter of faith, or having profanity and the promise of burning in hell thrown at me, but I would still like to know, how does the whole theory of evolution tie in with the Christian faith? I've listened to a couple of theologists claim that God has had a hand in the evolution process, and that seems fair to me. But for those of you who believe in the literal translation of the Bible: How does DNA fit into that picture? What about the Dinosaurs? What about recorded mutations in various species, for example the pattern of a butterfly's wings changing over many generations? Your thoughts please |

The church got all up in arms over the disproving of the geocentric universe, as if it was a direct challenge to the Biblical cosmology, and all it got them was bad historical karma. And these days, even though we know for sure that the sun doesn't revolve around the earth, Christianity still exists fully intact. I doesn't matter. It never will. It's certainly not relevant enough to fight over. Place me like a seal over your heart, like a seal on your arm; for love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. It burns like blazing fire, like a mighty flame. -- Song 8:6 |
