Who did this?

It has to be from Volconvo.

Is it you, Mia? (This would be a way of drawing attention to it, I mean.)

Otherwise, careful orthographic analysis reveals US spelling, which rules out, uh, G.Adams, Matt, and a few other Brit/Commonwealth types. Hell, that narrows things down by about 5%.

Wasn't me. I haven't even bothered to cut and paste for our own idiotic statements thread, much less take that kind of time and dedication!

You are the second person to suspect me, though.....is that because I suggested he have his own thread?

No, simply because rather than leave something to languish unnoticed on wikipedia, one could announce it here, pretending to have simply discovered it. Just a thought. No other reason to "suspect" you.

Whoever did it has a lot of time on his hands though. tinybear? No, not motivated enough.

It has to be someone clever.

I followed the Leeroy Jenkins link, so it's probably someone who plays World of Warcraft.

And if you look at the history, it's someone who is home during the day.

That would, in fact, be the best way. And why write it if no one will see it?

That is another mystery.

Did the author think people might google him? Do people google screen names?

Hmm... I get almost 40 million hits for Nono, including a Malagasy musician: http://www.nono-music.com/ :)

Sometimes I wish my parents had named me something more, uh, exotic.

I do. But that's because I work at a bank for 8 hours a day, get about 3 customers an hour and volconvo is a slow forum. Its a cool way to find out the origins of some screen names or other places people post.

I did that with an old mod and found out he has a soapbox...I mean homepage.

Don't judge me, I'm bored.

There are famous Mia's and also it hits on MIA.

Although I saw myself on google for some political comments I made elsewhere. Couldn't figure how it rated - maybe the site has a high google rate?

These are things I am not educated in (how what ends up where).

Quiet bank.
Its in the corporate center stuck back in a corner that few dare to venture in. We spend our lives on the internet, but get paid $13.00/hour to do it. ^^

And as much as I disagree with Z and find his arguing style taxing, rife with holes, fallacies and ignorant I think that this whole wikipedia thing is a bit rude.

Funny, but rude and disrespectful.

...but then the "rude and disrespectful" bit is what makes it funny, isn't it?

I received the link from someone on another forum on which he posts.

And the page is still being continuously edited.

Does anyone else post on other forums with him that can see if the Wiki author has a username elsewhere?

That's the private sector for ya.

Back to Zhavric: I'm frankly surprised the dude arouses such animus, especially with the large number of truly egregious dingbats on this board (no need to name 'em -- we all know who they are).

It's what Z asks for by treating his opponents like shit. Cummupance and suchforth.

Yeah, but when someone constantly pokes at you and acts like a cock-monkey, do they deserve this kind of kick in the balls?

Pardon the language, but damn. It just strikes me as overkill.

That's why I'm not sure it's someone here... I don't think anyone here finds him that abhorrent.

Absolutely. But I've been annoyed by this particular cock-monkey longer than you guys have, so from my perspective, it's a long overdue kick in the balls.

Maybe you don't understand how much of an asshat Zhavric is. This kind of crap will barely faze him; it's like when Sarah Connor was shooting T-1000 with the shotgun--it will slow him down, but it isn't going to stop him.

Maybe it's just my paranoia (where's my Fellhunter?), but are you suggesting that I have my cummupance coming to me?
