| Igneous Magma Location: Minnesota Posts: 395 | Explosion in Andover All right boys and girls I want you to picture this. A Chevy S-10 Blazer with 3 local boys careens down the street at 60+ miles an hour. Suddenly the extremely inebriated driver loses control and crashes into a house. Not only into the house, but he manages to hit the gas line. The house explodes. The father of the family (who happened to be outside) grabs the kid out of the Chevy (beer cans tumbling onto the ground) with no interntion to harm, but to restrian. He is then tackled and pinned by the driver's cohorts. The mother and son are still in the burning house. He has to get to them. Long story short, everyone got out safe. What makes this story so pathetic is that in April the driver had had his license revoked for a DWI and had just been reinstated on July 15th. He is also underage. So what should the punishment be this time? Lisence revoked again? Monetary compensation? Jail? If the boys had held the man down much longer, his wife and son could have died. And, can the offender sue because the father "attacked" and retained him? Article |

| BANNED Location: New York Posts: 4,217 | I read the article. My first response is to wonder how fucked up the legal system is in that place. The kid has an extensive history of fucking up. I'm willing to bet Daddy bails him out of trouble. But now, he fucking burns down someone's house. He should have the book thrown at him. He is 20 years old. He just rendered a family homeless. The homeowner should sue the shit out of that kid in a civil trial. Instead of excessive rewards, he should sue for the value of his home or value of the repairs, lost income, value of lost property, and the cost of their lodging while they wait for their home to be repaired. It'll probably be somewhere in the neighborhood of $800,000. But really, this kid is a serious fuckup and kept getting away with it. I fucking hate rich people who pull that shit. I'd like to hurt them. |

Frankly, I agree with you. The Minnesota justice system is terrible - we're afraid of inconveniencing anybody. We're light on crime in general. Underage drinking and driving? Seriously, this kid should go to jail.

No WAY what he did constitutes only a few misdemeanors. --Second

![]() The Cake is a lie... Location: St. Louis Posts: 2,342 | Yeah this happens way too frequently. I had a girl in one of my classes bragging about how she had 4 DUI's. Boy do I hope she was lying. What makes a man turn neutral? Lust for gold? Power? Or were you just born with a heart full of neutrality? |
