| Foreboding Location: USA Posts: 33 | What Ever Happened To Barack Obama? A while back I saw a Larry King portion where John Stewart cried about not having any politicians which inspire awe, no mighty leaders anymore. It got me thinking about who could be the Democrat's Reagan. Who could be someone who appeals to everyone for pure spunk, Democrat or Republican? Preferably someone who can't get painted as an uber-left-wing nutjob by the media. The Democrats need unity and a driving force. Something which brings them to the level above the Republicans who have the help of incumbancy. "We didn't get bribed as much" is not a good reason to elect a person or join a party. So who do you guys think could be the next great Democrat leader, and/or what qualities would make someone rise from mere Congressperson to 'the guy who saved the Democratic party'? |

Siince he is only a Rep and not a senator, I think, in the future, if he wins here in TN, Harold Ford Jr. Has potential. I just like this guy for some reason. He will obviously win the primary but I am unsure if he can beat Corker or whomever. Cause TN has some very deep red in it dotted out throughout. I am optimistic though. |
