| Skeptical Patriot Posts: 7,746 | And how much of it is true? There is no way I'm believing somebody thinks he was responsible for 9/11 because he was playing with himself. Not a day goes by that I don't see something that reinforces my belief that people are idiots. |

| Retired Posts: 7,312 | I think the point is a place for people who cannot give their apology to the person they need to for some reason, so having it 'out there' makes them feel better. I'm sure he doesn't logically believe that, he just has an obessive thought/guilt about it. "...with like-minded people one cannot discuss. With like-minded people one can only participate in a church service, and you know how I feel about church services." Ayaan Hirsi Ali | |

| Retired Posts: 7,312 | I remember reading about this in college psych, but just can't remember the details (giving away my age here). Anyway, some people get really strange thoughts like this, irrationally feeling responsible for things, sometimes due to doing things they feel guilty for. | Skeptical Patriot Posts: 7,746 | I can understand how one might have the occasional feeling of irrational guilt, but when you go and put it on a "confession" website it begins to look like hypersensiive BS. Maybe I'm just feeling a bit realistic tonight. It's not a good decade to be the sensitive type. Not a day goes by that I don't see something that reinforces my belief that people are idiots. |
