I don't think Kerry had done anything as of last week to merit the 3 percent lead, but suddenly this week, Bush's Poll numbers jumped giving him a 3 percent lead. The USA today Poll suggests a 6 percent swing in a week. Sure thats possible, but not this week, what with the Woodward book, Iraq's bloodiest month yet, & Bush's horrible Presidential address. He couldn't think of one thing the Administration had done wrong, with so many to choose from. So I suggest that Bush paid for the outcome of the USA today Poll, but I wonder do they charge by the date of the Poll...or by the Margin?

Trolll after troll after troll after troll. I mean you come here, and after 17 posts you create numerous threads trolling. How do you know if it is not possible? How can you get into the heads of those who took the poll? Bush didn't pay for anything.

Young I have to agree with G. You're making quite an assumption here. Suggesting W paid for a poll outcome is really a stretch. Even if he tried what makes you think USA Today would accept this bribe? USA T. is far more likely to expose the attempt and make W look bad.

I said someone, during the Democratic primaries, Kerry was accused of buying Polls. Wisconsin Polls had Kerry winning by 30% day before primary, then he did win...but only by 2%

It may have been a poll spike or might of not been done on a large enough demographic, doesn't mean the poll was bought off.

You attack his credibility (Ad Hominem), then you ask him how he knows it's not possible, and then you say something absolute: "Bush didn't pay for anything". I ask you, how do you know this? You seem to question his sourceless position (as do I), but you post yours in defense.

So it goes

I AGREE. My point is, you say that Bush DIDN'T do such a thing. I ask you, how the hell do you know? You're making the same mistake he is.

At least he's leaving it in question-he's just pondering. (even though I hate that too).

Well I meant to say in my opinion I don't think Bush would do such a thing. Is that better for you?

Thanks Sean, Your right to question as is G, I have no proof. I also didn't say whom I thought was buying Polls, but I can't help thinking that this week was overall Bad for Bush, maybe the worst week in this Election year. So the 6 percent swing seems suspect to me.

Well in this forum we do things a bit differently. Maybe we should open a "speculation forum". This week was not bad for Bush, just difficult. It does not mean his popularity will erode, because again you can't get into the minds of people. This poll I think moreso demonstrates that Kerry is putting up a lousy campaign.

Yes Gian, much better. See how important that can be though. When you only belt out a few sentences for your stance, you'd better make sure you communicate your view effectively within them, while avoiding such obvious fallacies as opinion vs. fact.

Also, Young, I would appreciate it if you posted less new topics, and got involved in the current ones. You are new, so please, respect the other topics, by giving them some attention, and post one or two throughout the forum. That's how we keep it interesting here.

Also, I hope you've read this: http://www.volconvo.com/etiquette.htm

And Gian, even though you told me to basically fuck off, I'd like to compliment your improvement in this post.

Sorry I have had a history of short temper and have worked very intensively in bringing that under control. I didn't mean that.

Well, I'm glad this ended up like this, and no offense to anyone, but I'm going to close this, because I think you all learned how you have to do things a little different when posting.
