While it was amusing to see people dressed as orc/klingon hybrids, the music was bollocks. "Hard Rock Hallelujah"? Oh god, if you have to sing about rock to make it a rock song, it aint rock. There is so much good metal that comes from the North countries they could have threw a dart and hit something good, but no, they got this...

The music sucks, but the competition doesn't. You can judge a lot about the political situation in Europe by watching the Eurovision song contest. For example, the UK got nil points a couple of years ago, following the Iraq invasion. There's the mighty hand of European justice for you. And the day Turkey gives twelve points to Greece will be the day that the anti-christ has be spawned.

Hey, I actually didnt mind the UK version this year. Four school girls prancing around in low cut skirts and knee high white socks...don't really remember the music though. :)
