| Molten Ash Location: Queensland, Australia Posts: 118 | Getting to know you Well seeing as this forum was just launched I think we should devote a thread to ourselves. So what better way to get things started then by telling us who you all are. I will start with myself. I am a 19 year old male who lives in queensland, Australia. I am currently attending the University of the Sunshine Coast and i am doing a Science degree. I have done army basic training and hope to get into the airforce very soon. I am a mad rugby league fan and enjoy discussing current events issues and anything to do with the military. Only the dead have seen the end of war - Plato |

| Sedimentary Rock Location: WA Posts: 17 | 18 male, also from WA state. i like politics, current events, exotic pets, the rest you'll find out. What Is American Corporatism? Corporatism blends socialism and capitalism not by giving each control of different parts of the economy, but by combining socialism's promise of a government-guaranteed flow of material goods with capitalism's private ownership and management. Legislative representation is given to industries and workers' societies. Workers and employers are organized into syndicates known as "corporations" according to their industries, and these groups are given representation in a legislative body. We believe in national government, collective solutions, corporatist economics, State intervention and the “Third Way.” We are anti-globalist and anti-communist. | Sedimentary Rock Location: Manassas, VA Posts: 2 | I'm a 19-year-old male living just outside of Washington, DC--the perfect location for a political debater, i think. :) I'm currently attending the local community college (It's cheaper) studying for a transfer to a four-year school where I plan to earn a degree in Communications. I really enjoy web design, and of course Star Trek (as evidenced by my nick and web site). -Andrew I tried to look at things from your perspective, but I can't get my head that far up my butt... |

| Sedimentary Rock Location: Princeton, NJ Posts: 4 | 16 year old male, living near Princeton, NJ. I'm currently interested in studying graphic and web design. I also kill time attempting some amateur photography, playing plently of video games, listening to a wide variety of music (mainly jazz and hip-hop) and playing the tenor saxophone in a local jazz band. I've got a temporary portfolio site set up where I'm trying to put all of my works. Of course, being a teenager, I'm incredibly cynical and love to stay updated on politics and other current events. -The Maestro insert coin | democKracy http://homepage.mac.com/dvoorhees/ma...olconvosig.gif |

| Sedimentary Rock Location: New Jersey, USA Posts: 5 | 15 year old male from Princeton area New Jersey. Literature, history, science, math, art, all are up for grabs as far as my interests go, but philosophy and the law are my real passions. I'm into ultimate disc, alternative rock, anything that's new and interesting is good for me. I belive that debate is essential to a democracy, even the most hate-filled ideas need to be heard, that's the only way that we'll enjoy the fruits of a society that is truely free, is to have a truely free market place of ideas. Existentialist philosophy is my specific interest, as far as that goes, i'm a soft-skepticist, which means that i look at every idea as equally true, then determine for myself which is the most true in relation to universal truths... crazy, but that's me. |
