On a sidenote, it'd be nice if people would fill in the profiles a bit more. It only takes half a minute to tell a tiny bit about yourself. I for one am a profile-junkie, I want to know what kind of a person thinks the way he/she does, where he/she's from, what he/she does for a living etc etc.

Graduated on the run as an Anabaptist during the run up to the most recent Iraqi war (have we come up with a name for it yet?) as I asked a few too many questions of the wrong people. Engaged in the discipline of theological reflection and conversation on a (yet) primitive website.

Hey Giancarlo, I've know several gay republicans. There's nothing to be ashamed of, and don't let any of these others bag on you. There's nothing inconsistent with gaydom and Republicanism. The only problem comes from the extreeme right wing of your party which is nuts anyway so don't worry about them.

Well there's plenty of democrats that have strong convictions against gays too. I have a very diverse set of opinions. :) I'm not that much to the right anyways.... don't see why having a boyfriend has to affect my political views at any rate. :)
