Hello all. I'm a mother of two boys and a freelance designer. I spend all day with my young children and enjoy taking little breaks throughout the day to go online and make use of my brain.

I'm not sure if this is the right place for me but I figured I'd give it a whirl. Although I am particularly interested in issues related to mothering, I find that forums designated for these issues tend to discourage critical thinking and logic in favor of emotional responses.

My main interests include politics, religion, childbirth, and natural living.

I'm a 16 year old, confident, female from Australia. I love sports, football, exercise, technology, food! and Harry Potter. I also love science and getting my own way

When I finish school (which will be soon), I want to get either a enviromental science degree or get a degree that will help work towards me working in a field of space science

I also want to travel all around the world! I wanna see all those new things!

Anyway, thats me.

I've been browsing the fora here ever since my old one at ATT shut down. Seems to be a wide range of well-expressed opinions, and I look forward to contributing.

A little about me:

I'm a 37 year old male, native of Northern Ireland, currently making my home in New Zealand. I'm an historian by education, a luthier by trade, and an atheist by inclination. I'm a good cook, a passable fisherman, and a lousy typist (apos in advance). My hobbies include following the All Blacks and advoiding gardening. Some of my personal heroes are Charles Darwin, Ella Fitzgerald, Carl Sagan, Django Reinhardt and Dylan Moran. Politically, I'm left-of-centre. I'm somewhat of an Amerophile, the current crop of thugs notwithstanding.

Well, that should do to go on with. I look forward to explaining why everyone should agree with me about everything [joke].
